Robes on the Dream?

Are there robes in all the rooms on the Dream? My DD didn't remember having them on a deck 7 verandah, but this is from a vlog and a deck 5 verandah and there are robes... the people hadn't unpacked yet, so they were already there. I have two awesome DCL robes but they take up so much suitcase space. Thanks!!

Never in my 21 of 22 DCL cruises have I ever had robes in the closet. One cruise was concierge and we did get robes.

Yea, Ben and David, I just watched this video. Fell asleep during the Margaritaville one...I have to go back and re-watch... I honestly don't know about the robes. I remember my mom wearing a robe, but not sure if it was at the hotel or once we got on the ship...

I noticed it myself in Ben and David's video and wondered if they were starting to do that. They never used to but they do on the Wish so it made me think that they might have rolled this out to the other ships.

So we were on the Wish, so I guess I didn't image her wearing a robe.

Concierge has them. Or if you order a paid package, you will get them. Other wise you need to bring one.

I don’t know if it’s because we are Platinum, but I have always asked for a robe to use and I have gotten one 90% of the time.

Darn, I was hoping to get a more definitive answer to this one... I even asked in comments of the aformentioned vlog about their robes, if they were just there or requested.

This is not a definitive answer but I’ve seen more than one video where “well-known” vloggers have robes in their room (and they aren’t on the Wish or in concierge). I’m 99% sure DCL knows when some of these vloggers sail and gives them robes for VIP treatment.

Unless something has changed recently I don’t think you will have them on the Dream unless you’re sailing concierge.

We were on the Fantasy last month. No robes.

Asked at the spa but they are only to be used there and not removed.

I just purchased a non alcoholic package with 2 bath robes (Disney Fantasy eastern, no robes in rooms; they did have robes to use onboard on the Dream a decade ago). The robes were too warm (and very nice and plush) to use in April. They would be perfect for winter use though. They do take up a considerable amount of space so we had an extra carry on duffle bag that we stuffed them into.

The robes in the gift shop are less plush and would probably be better for use on warmer sailings.

I would say do purchase and add a blanket (recommended by vlogger mermaid Nina) if you have younger kids. You can’t add them later once the window closes (need to be added until 3 days prior to cruise sail date). We could have used one for when the beds are folded up during the daytime and kids fall asleep in the sofa and in flight. We were on the Fantasy: deck 4 got windy (nice outdoor seating) and it got chilly on deck 11 when the nighttime movie was playing.

Just got off the Wish last week, and there were robes in the room (standard inside). Never had them in any other room on any other ship on 14 previous cruises.
