The site reminded me of another one which raises a smile (particularly for keen skiers out there). It's dedicated to photos of bad taste all-in-one ski suits, particularly fluorescent jobbies from the 1980's (mine now lives in the attic never to be seen again).

I had the great pleasure of meeting Zurg (Bennett) in December and I wasn't sure what to expect because of the whole bad shoe thing - but when I met him I immediately looked to see what foot attire I was wearing - I was so paranoid. I believe they passed the test, I haven't seen them on the site anyway

I've gotta get on with some work and I can't see the screen for the tears in my eyes Not quite sure if they're from all the laughter, or the pained looks I was giving the shoes/the toenails (must have a pedicure before I go) or those luscious romper suits, Rob

Never owned one of those, but I did have matching ski jacket and trousers back in the mid-80s which I'm now worried people might have thought was a romper suit NO WAY.

I have to confess to not one, but two 'romper suits'! One by Berghaus and one by Nevica. They are, of course, in wonderful good taste. Or at least I thought they were when I bought them! Now I dread to think how bad they really are. I'm sure that the Nevica suit had a bright green flouresent band around the chest (FX: Shudder).

Tip for skiers: never buy all in one suits. As well as looking slightly ludicrous, it's impossible to stay cool when the weather is anything other than artic-like. You'll feel like a boil-in-the-bag sausage on those nice spring days!

Rob - it wasn't the boil in the bag sausage that was so bad, it's when you wanted to go pee - you try getting out of all that all in one clobber when you're a girly (but then perhaps being a bloke "boil in the bag sausage" was quite apt ).

My fave Nevica outfit was fluorescent turquiose I was so proud of that, cost me a month's salary too
