Ok, how many of you guys put together a mix - CD / Playlist for your trips to Disney? and what's on them? Do you stick to strictly Disney tunes or mix it up a little?

Right now, I'm working on ours (though our 'road trip' is only 45 minutes). Having two daughters, I'm sticking to a princess theme.

We use Pandora on our phones. But I have a mp3 cd with over 500 disney sound bites and songs on it.

I will have two playlists.

1) radio Disney playlist: anything that radio Disney plays (that I can tolerate) will be on it
2) iDisney playlist: our favorite songs that come straight from the movies.

That reminds me....
I love the Wishes instrumental song that disradio plays often. I don't know what it is called or what album I can find it on. Any ideas?

I made a discs with a mix of all music. The disney music that I lean towards is:
Epcot music: Future World area loop and the Sorin' music
Tomorrowland loop
The Jungle Cruise loop

My daughters can't get enough of the Tangled soundtrack. I must have heard Mother knows best a thousand times. :rolleyes1

My fault. I got confused. It's the opening music to fantasmic that I like so much.

I have a couple of the Disney Parks CD's, and the Disney Hits CD's....

And they get played the whole way down.:thumbsup2

Maybe I'm a nerd, but I actually have the mixes I make for the trips labeled & dated (first trip, thanksgiving, etc.) Now that we're local, I'm trying to put together the ultimate in Disney Mixes. The one mix that is sure to get the gang pumped up for a day at the park. Of course, this changes daily and has to be re-burned before every visit.

How far is WDW from you house?

How far is WDW from you house?

Early morning, on a Saturday, from my house to Downtown Disney, (the only place I've gone to directly) it's about 30 - 45 minutes, give or take. Weekday will be significantly longer as I'd have to drive through Downtown Orlando on I-4.

I recently purchased a program called station ripper. You put the url's in for the music streams and this program rips them. It also has a database, so if it has already copied that song/attraction/parade then it will skip it. I think Im up to around 6G of full attraction audio, parades, and background music. Works really well in conjunction with Audiogalaxy, which lets me stream music from my home computer to my cell or browser window. :cool1:

When we go its a 9-10 hr drive. We do the park/movie mixes as well as catch up on our favorite Disney related podcasts. Really sets the mood!
