Zootopia is already a hit! It's only a matter of time before more is brought to life in the parks. I was thinking about this and although I am usually against changing attractions unless it makes sense and/or is needed, I think this is one that fits perfect and is actually needed. Of course, building something brand new is great as well and preferred by most but as the theme goes as of late it seems Disney wants to assess what they already have before having to build something brand new.

Lets be honest, Aerosmith can only last so much longer and the space is big enough to house a nicely themed mini Zootopia along with a meet and greet. Gazelle would be the perfect front runner to fill Aerosmith's spot.

Thoughts? I'd prefer Gazelle over another music group.

I am all for a bigger Zootopia presence in the parks (that movie was freakin' adorable) and even a re-theming of RnRC.

But please...for the love of all things holy...not Shakira.

Her voice makes me want to stab things.

Aerosmith has been popular for 30+ years, no its not everyone's cup of tea, but pick someone that is... can't think of one.

Zootopia is great, but seriously, uh no. I don't see short lines at RNC I don't see any reason to change it, and I am sure Disney doesn't either.

Yeah, no. Please no. That would get my panties in a bunch way more than the laundry list of things that is getting under everyone else's skin these days.
I actually like Aerosmith just fine for the ride.
Though I do understand it was pretty neat when they put the Star Wars overlay on it for the debut night.

ummm no please just no! I am a huge Aerosmith fan, and while I loved zootopia I would be not be a very happy camper if I had to listen to "Gazelle" while enjoying my favorite ride

Oh, great. Give the loony tunes at Disney more ideas. This rates right up there with the weekend rumor that ToT will become a Guardians of the Galaxy ride.

Yeah, let's turn every WDW ride into a pimp for a Disney product, no sense in creating and maintaining unique attractions.

Why do you think Aerosmith can only last so much longer? Yes, the band members are getting up there in age, but the music has staying power. My 12yo DD loves the music.

And really? Gazelle? An animated "pop star" with one song from a movie released just a few weeks ago? You think that's who should replace Aerosmith? I didn't think it was April 1st yet.

I only bring this up because hasn't there been talk of Aerosmith being removed? Or the contract with Aerosmith soon being up? I swear I read this multiple times. It's better than a Zootopia overlay of Splash Mountain. That would be a sad day. It was just an idea I thought would be a topic of interest of what could possibly be done with the attraction if Aerosmith were to leave. That is all. I'd rather Gazelle over some other group or some American Idol "singer" that may or may not be very good. I'd rather some of you discuss possible replacement ideas than some just posting negative responses to me and not adding to the topic at hand.

Disney can create and maintain unique attractions based on their own product. I think they already have.

This is nowhere near the travesty of ToT. I refuse this to be true.

Maybe change out "It's a Bug's Life" to something Zootopia. The waiting area could have working 3D models of the town ares behind glass to look at. The show could be a travel show on visiting the town - of course something goes wrong and the theater is overrun by critters.

I like Bug's Life, but something more fun-for-the-whole-family might be better. Animal Kingdom is the right place for a Zootopia themed attraction.

We should make a list of all the artists, real or animated, over the years who were rumored to be replacing Aerosmith. The list would be long but not necessarily distinguished.

I hate to say it, but I agree with everyone else. Aerosmith is a fabulous choice for a rock and roll themed coaster. It wouldn't make sense for a pop singer to take over.

Plus, I wasn't a huge fan of Zootopia. The characters were cute, but I really only enjoyed about the last thirty minutes of it. :confused3
