Riviera Purchase- Guide Recommendation?

Hi everyone, my wife and I are recent resale purchasers and looking at adding-on at Riviera.

I have seen a number of posts about a (potential) price increase on May 1st. Is this more rumor, or something that's pretty much out there from Guides as happening? I know incentives are scheduled to drop, but we'd be buying less than the incentive threshold regardless; so more concerned with the price per point changes.

Also, to my knowledge we do not have a Guide. It seems as though who you get can have a big effect on your experience. We wanted to see if anyone has a Guide they've worked with that has been great and would be willing to pass along the name/contact information. I believe people have stated that we could request, or choose who we'd like to work with.

We purchased Riviera this weekend! Our guide wasn't in so we went through Bernard Leneaupin. Super helpful, not pushy at all, literally, paid a deposit by credit card over the phone and he had our points in our account 4-5 hours later AND we booked for New Years Eve.

Bernard seemed fairly confident the price would go up, but you never know. We did know we wanted to purchase so did not want to risk a price increase in a couple of months.

Ron Brumbaugh is our guide. Just added on at CCV. Super nice and not pushy at all. He has always been great with email communication regarding new info and price increases. His work days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
