Rivers of Light or Kali River Rapids FP?

Currently, we have a Rivers of Light FP for the 10:30 show (AK has EMH the day we are going, 10pm-12am). I'm wondering if I still need the FP for the 10:30 show since it should be resort-only guests there at the time.

Would the FP be better used on Kali River Rapids, which we are planning to do earlier in the day. According to Touring Plans, there's an anticipated 55 minute wait w/out the FP for Kali River Rapids.

The show will have a lot of non-resort guests since they will start seating prior to 10 pm.

Evening EMH will have off site guests. Disney does not kick off site guests out of the park. They can remain in the park but just can't ride any rides as they'll be scanning bands to verify on site guests.

So if there's still off site guests in AK after 10pm, they'll either be in Pandora or going to see RoL.

On the other hand no one really knows yet what wait times will be like for Kali that late at night. It could be a walk on or could have that 55min wait.

However that RoL show will likely be the second (or maybe third) show of the night, so I'd do the FP for Kali as after the first RoL show it's not too hard to get a seat

Years ago, when AK had late magic hours, back when late magic hours were 3 hours and not 2, it was pretty much walk-on at Kali. We used to ride it over and over and over without getting off. When there is no line, they allowed that. We'd ride until we were completely soaked, and then leave the park when we were done riding.

We were at AK last week, Thursday night, had FP+ for ROL and it was a total waste, we could have walked up at 10:15 and had fabulous seats. There was no need for FP for the second show.
