If the AK has a closing of 8:00, why do they schedule ROL at 8:30?

Not at all unusual for ROL, or Fantasmic too, to be scheduled after the park closes.

Or Star Wars fireworks too, depending on the schedule. But agreed, a common scheduling feature for nighttime entertainment at both DAK and DHS.

They’ve been doing this at AK & DHS since RoL and Fantasmic debuted. It works out really well as you don’t lose valuable evening park time for these shows.

If this happens to be the 2nd show of the night then the crowds will be light too.

On our last visit to AK, we found the ampitheater to be about a third full for the late show.
