River Country closed

I can't believe this, middle of August and it's shut? I know repairs and renovations have to happen at sometime, but since we've been visiting Disney (9th time this year since 1990) nothing has EVER been closed.
Does anyone know if the restaurant at River Country is still open?

Hi Kim,

I think that Disney have now permanently closed River Country - there was a thread on the boards not so long ago which went into detail. Not sure about the restaurant though.

Just have to spend more time at BB and TL.

River Country is certainly closed for the whole of this year.

Hi Kim, River Country was closed last year when the bacteria levels in the water became unacceptably high - it hasn't re-opened since and as Bengunn says is not scheduled to open throughout 2002.
