I say $15 to start... sounds better than asking for $20 on top of the $15 you already spent.

You don't need to purchase Genie+ in order to buy IA$. So it's possible just to pay whatever the price of ROTR is set at without the additional cost of Genie+.

My guess is $24 pp initially. That keeps it under $100 for a family of 4 (but it's still an insane price for one ride).

Man, I hated VQ. Just the stress of trying to get one, then having a number but not knowing what time you'd be called, planning to eat but alwyas watchign that number, wanting to park ho but still waiting. On my trip in May we did it one day with plans to do it the second - we opted not to and changed our park reservation instead. It's just so draining. Now, I can rope-drop the dang thing and be free!

I wonder how many of the IAS they’re gonna have, and how fast they run out each morning. .. if I get up at 7 just like with the VQ am I gonna have to be lucky to get a morning one? I think I might rather wait in the three hour line.

Makes sense. Why are people going to pony up for LL if the normal line has little wait if you score a BG?

Also they designed the ride to have people waiting in line, so that physical ground area was going unused with the VQ. With it going into use this will increase the amount of square footage for guests so it should let them up capacity more...

I don’t think IAS will go in seconds. I believe only onsite guests can book IAS at 7 am. Offsite has to wait until they enter. Plus many will not buy and try to do RD. I bet a decent portion of people will wait until they get into the park at RD and hope they get ahead of the pack before purchasing ahead.

I think $24 is what they will start at…there’s a mental threshold for $25 or $100 fir 4 that people won’t cross. But during high crowds like Easter, Christmas, I think it will be closer to $40

I think the way it will work for booking LL is the same as for the regular distribution. You aren't buying a time, but you're buying the "fast pass" for the next available window. As they get taken the window will shift forward. At least, that's what I was envisioning. It will help keep availability later in the day.

I'm happy to see the RotR Standby Queue suck up a lot of guests who had boarding passes while waiting in other lines.

It will be interesting to see how they handle DAS with this. It’s is my son’s favorite attraction but even with a boarding pass we needed to alert a member he had a DAS pass as he would be unable to wait…

We get to Disney on Sept. 24, and our first HS day is the 26th. So I guess we'll be one of the early guinea pigs.
