Maybe, but there's still a capacity for DL that's being reached daily, so same number of people starting in the park trying for Rise. Only thing different is people going to DCA that day have something to try for at 7am now too. I could see that happening a bit more for the noon drop though as people that started in DCA and didn't get a WS bg would try again rather than looking at hopping and going for RotR.Got group 50 this morning! I’m thinking WS is having a positive effect on being able to get RotR in the morning, even if they still go quickly.
It means the boarding groups were all gone. When practicing outside of your reservation days, after selecting your tickets, it would have taken you to a page that said you don't have park reservations today and an option to de-select people.Got the whole family to practice for the first time today. We'll do it for real in two weeks!
We all got as far as selecting your tickets but then we all got the red "Something went wrong message." I haven't seen this before. Is that just because we don't have reservations today? Or would we have been shut out?
I had different tickets for different weeks & different people groups last month, along with a legacy code. I got a RotR BG each day. The app looks for both tickets and park reservations in the BG process. It picked the right tickets and people each day based on my park reservations.I'm sure someone here will know.
I currently have two sets of tickets loaded onto my app. One park per day, 2- day tickets for me and my husband and park reservations for July, and 3 day PHs for me and my son and reservations for October.
Is there anyone who has had two different sets of tickets like that and still successfully gotten a BG? (I am reading about not having to "check" any boxes at 0700).
Oh and I also have my "legacy pass" barcode on there too (not that it does me any good as it expires before we go, but....)

Just curious about additional information, did you check any boxes while on the ticket screen or did you immediately click join thinking it selected the right tickets for you?Edit: Also wanted to add that there was a happy ending to the story, as the CM at Guest Services took care of us! Amazing ride, and totally worth the hassle that we went through to ride it.

I also had two sets of tickets, one set for 2 people in May and one set for 5 people in June. When we went in May it automatically selected the 2 tickets that were valid that day.
I had selected all (which is what I had practiced doing at home). However, on Sunday (the 1st day in the parks, when the ride was closed)...I had gone to Guest Services to add my Legacy Pass so I could get discounts on mobile food orders. I realized that this was going to be a problem, but once it was added, I had no way to unlink it (unless someone knows something I don't). I was going to do a separate post about this...maybe I still will.
So you clicked select all? On the day you are trying for a boarding group, there is no reason to hit “select all” as this will indeed select all available tickets plus the Legacy Passes attached to your account. All you need to do when you reach the screen that lists your tickets is click join, as the system will automatically recognize and select only your valid tickets and not your Legacy pass.
Hmm. It all happened so quicklyIf there was an option to select all, then I did it. So maybe I messed it up? I know that I practiced by selecting all, so if that option was still there on the real day...then I probably still selected all.
This is a really good point!Select all will definitely cause problems if you have other tickets or a Legacy Pass. I don’t understand why that select all button is even there. It’s nice to use Tto quickly click through when practicing from home, but serves no purpose except to cause errors for people when actually trying to get a boarding pass.
