Loved him in An Officer and a Gentleman

A stalwart of the stage and cinema , I still recall his performance in “A Raisin in the Sun”. He seemed so otherworldly yet attainable in his part. A quirky movie made with an English actress I can’t recall- G-d, he was quietly talented.

He will be missed and I thank him for his decades of thoughtful entertaining.

I mostly remember him from the Iron Eagle movies, he was legendary.
