Ringing in 2014 at WDW

Ok.

3 years ago, was at WDW for NYE. We did Epcot and while it was busy, it wasnt crazy until after the midnight Illuminations, which was expected.

Headed back this year and looking for suggestions from those of you more experienced with WDW.

What park would you suggest going to for New Years Eve?
Any park to absolutely stay away from?
Any other hints/ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help. Got the room and the plane ticket. Just need to find a date now. LOL The one from last time will so NOT be there. hahahahaha

Hello! We did the NYE experience for 2013. AND IT WAS CRAZY! MK was closed by 10 am. We ventured to EPCOT and getting off the bus and and past security was INSANE. Took over an hour. I felt bad for the guests who weren't staying on property because their line to get in was back to where you got on/off the buses. If you do any park be prepared for 2+ hours of wait times and no fast passes. It was just a very long day. Great experience but I wouldn't do it again. I suggest being a rope dropper and just pick a spot and relax all day because there won't be much you can do. Other than that HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!

I think you will be better at DAK or even one of the water parks for NYE. For whatever reason, don't go to MK.

Actually like the idea of AK for the day.

My friend has to work on NYE so isnt flying until the morning of the 1st.

Dont mind doing the parks solo, but NYE might be pushing it. Love my college football so maybe some AK followed by Dinner and maybe Football.

Then up early on the 1st for a little park time before my ARIZONA STATE SUN DEVILS win the 100th Rose Bowl!!!!!

All subject to change if I find a cute date for NYE.
