What an amazing Mothers Day gift!!!
When is Mothers Day in the USA? Its in a couple of weeks in the UK. We are spending the weekend at my in-laws so I have asked for a nice family roast lunch!

A Mothers Day trip! Awesome! I hope my daughter will continue to enjoy Disney so we can take lots of trips together also! That is so sweet of Jill!!WOO HOO!! What fabulous news!!!
The best I have heard in a long time! Mother's Day is one of the holidays we have wanted to cross off of our list, so this is awesome!

My family and I were there on Mother's Day last year and the CMs really do go out of their way to make all of the mothers there feel special

I remember you telling about that. That is so sweet! We are excited about marking Mother's Day off of our list of Disney holidays we have done.
Congratulations to Trent. I hope everything works out just the way he wants it to. I know how Jill feels. My brother and I are very close. He moved to Texas, 12 hours away, about 4 years ago. I only get to see him a few times a year. We got to go to WDW together last year and it was so great to be there with our families for a week. You will enjoy WDW even more now that you will be seeing Trent after a long time.

I do hope we can meet up when you and Jill come to Memphis. The Disney store would be a great place to meet. It is in the Wolfchase Mall, right off of the Interstate.

We are leaving Huntsville on Friday morning. We'll be there Friday night. Where will you be that night, and what is your Saturday schedule like?

I am SUPER excited!! We are having dinner at Rose and Crown on Friday night to watch Illuminations then will hang out some for evening EMH.Saturday we have no firm plans but my hope is to make it to DHS for EMH in the morning, make a stop at DTD to pick up last minute souveniers and treats then going to MK for our final evening. Hoping they offer the dessert party that night too.
I'm guessing the girls are coming too?

Maybe if we get there at a decent time Friday night, we'll hop a bus to Epcot and find you for Illuminations. Jill said she has been wanting to see it, since she hasn't on our last few trips. I want to see the P&F topiaries that will be new this year. If we were able to get there in time to ride Nemo, see the topiaries, and see Illuminations, that would be awesome. We'll just have to see how tired we are and how late it is when we get there. If not, we'll figure out a way to meet you Saturday or Sunday before you leave..

The plan as I heard it this morning is as follows:
I will drive to Jill's house on Friday morning before Mother's Day, and we will go to her work together. She has to open that morning, but we should be able to leave around 9. We'll drive all day, and get to Pop in the evening. If we get there early enough to do anything and we still have the fortitude to do it, we will. If not, we'll bask in the glory of being in Disney World and go to bed at a reasonable hour.
Saturday - we will get to a park early, rest in the afternoon, and do another park in the evening. Jill will choose that, depending on park hours.
Sunday - get to a park early, do whatever we can, and leave in the evening to be able to get to our usual stopping point by bedtime.
Monday - Drive the rest of the way home, because Jill has to be back to close on Monday evening. I will then drive back to Nashville.
She's still tossing around the idea of flights, since it's such a short trip, but there was some reason she said that wasn't working for her. The prices were okay, but I think it was something about the timing of getting back Monday. It is a long trip for a short time, but not only is she being more nice to me than I deserve, but she wants to see her brother, too. We are hoping that he won't be working the whole time and he and Jamie can come over and meet us at least once while we are there, if not twice.
