I will tell him.
I would think a Hummer could accomodate 2 adult women and 2 small children pretty well You'll have a place to stay and AP's. As for Trent's stuff, well that's what trailers are made for.
I can tell how much Trent loves his family (2 little rats especially) and friends there and he is going to miss you all terribly! I'm sure it will be very bittersweet for him as well as you! Thank goodness for cell phones and computers! What an exciting time for him (and Jamie)!
He asks me just about every day if I have talked to Jill, and then he wants to know what his two little rats are doing. He
loves those girls! Any time Jarvis is willing to drive south, I'm sure two grown women and two little rats will be happy to hitch a ride with him.
Aw, of course they said yes to Trent! He's such a great guy.
I know it will be super hard with him there, but you'll have all of us DIS friends to talk to about it.
I know we're not the same as Trent, but we can try and make you feel better!
No,
tinkgurl, I can honestly say you look nothing like Trent!
We are looking forward to seeing you after your trip. Trent and Jamie need to hook up with you guys and
wigd and
Shocker and you can all give me a group picture!
That's fantastic news for Trent!

Hugs to you MeMom, Jill, and the rest of the family as you deal with him moving.
I imagine the girls will miss him very much!
You imagine right! We will have to deal with this delicately with Brooklynn. She is so sensitive and would cry her eyes out if she thought she wasn't going to get to see her Bubby very often. We'll have to not say any out of the ordinary goodbyes around her. Because of how much we love him and he loves them and everybody loves everybody, etc.

, we will work out plenty of travel to see each other on a regular basis. We won't let more than a couple of months go by without either meeting or one or the other of us traveling.
Congrats to Trent!!!!

to you MeMom! When we moved here to Cincy, my parents were much like you are. Happy and upbeat when they talked to us, cried when we weren't around. They were used to having us (and the grandkids) less than 10 minutes away so they saw the kids 5-6 days a week. While they miss us incredibly, they do enjoy being here for 4-5 days and really being a part of our lives.
We are very blessed to have such close families. When the rest of the world is not treating you so nicely, you can come home to a loving, supportive family.
I love it that you are already planning how to work out the ME and Pop stays.... You are going to be alright MeMom!
The next couple of weeks are going to be busy getting Trent ready to go! Stay strong!!
I think we'll make it, although it will be a huge change, a lot of money, and some effort. It is good that he is going somewhere that will make it easier for us to be, with the help of Disney World.
Congrats to Trent and big hugs for you, MeMom!
Thanks. I know they won't go to WDW a lot, but they might still get to have some DIS meets with some of you guys sometime. If some of you take turns meeting up with them, and you all send pictures back to me, that'll help.
His job? He's happy about it.
I just got teary eyed remembering when I moved away from home.
I was newly married and my Dad had just passed a few weeks before.
I was moving to another country 20+ hrs away from my DMom. Heartbreaking!
It must have been so hard for my DMom.
I can't imagine how sad she must have been, even though she never let me know it.
Lexi's life is all planned out for her....she is moving to Orlando and working at Disney....having a Disney wedding and we will all live Happily Ever After....oh yeah I forgot I will win the lottery too!!!
I am pretty sure it was.
We'll dream along with you for the Disney wedding plans.

I'm all for that winning the lottery part, too!
Well congratulations to him and

to you. I know you are happy for him. I understood that he was moving to Florida, but then when I read your replies, it sounded like he was moving to Orlando??? Is that right? If so, that is a very nice bonus to all of this. And how in the world did he find a job in Orlando when you all live in TN? I really hope Trent is happy and I hope all this works out for good for your whole family!
He went down there to interview with a very reputable place. He will be right around Orlando. Once I get my finances in order, I will probably be able to rack up some frequent flyer miles in the years ahead.
Congrats to Trent!
We know you'll be sad when he leaves but know
you have all of your DIS friends to lean on for support
I hope you are all very sturdy, for I am quite large!

Thanks for the good thoughts. I am going to be needing them in the weeks ahead.
Congrats to Trent and

for you.
You are right about raising them and being competent. Just keep reminding yourself of that while you are missing them
As a mother of a freshman in college and a HS sophmore I know that time is right around the corner for me. Since my college one is home now I almost fear losing them both at the same time. I just keep reminding myself that I want to grow up and live their own lives.
What better place than Orlando! If he had to move far away then he picked a great place.
He did pick a great place. I think he had some direction in that. I hope this will be a wonderful move for him. He knows he always has a home in Tennessee, though. I will be reclaiming the living room that he took over to use for a bedroom, however. It will be a living room again. If he ever comes back, he'll be demoted to a smaller room in the house!
Thanks. Who knows, you may see him when you are down there! I don't know how often he and Jamie will go over to the parks, but you never can tell.
