Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

Yay, all caught up! Bella & Brooklynn are too cute.
You take great pictures, it really feels like I'm at Disney when I'm reading your report :goodvibes

Toy Story 3? Where did you get that? That would be great for my classroom.

We surely do want to see the gingerbread house fun!
I got mine at a little calendar shop at the mall. I have seen it at Waldenbooks, Borders, and I think Barnes and Noble. I was at the mall today and it was down to 4$. If I saw it sooner I would of picked one up for you. The girls had off of school today so we went to the mall. I can't believe I didn't get to the Disney Store. It was 3:15 and Amy had dance at 4 I walked past it and asked myself 2 minutes? Then just kept walking.:headache:
We never got to the gingerbread house yet. Amy had a cold the other night so I sent her to bed early.

I love all your pictures and it is making be determined to talk my DH into a Dec trip. Quick question.... I know the pools are heated, but are they too chilly for adults (kids will get in anything it seems)?

Lots of kids were swimming, and I saw some adults swimming and some just sunbathing. It was warm during the day, but I wouldn't call it perfect swimming weather. In October it was nice for swimming, and of course during the hot summer. December is iffy. You might have some really warm days or you might happen upon a cold front. Swimming or no swimming, I hope you get to take a December trip. Abby would love the Osborne Lights and the castle all lit up.

We totally missed those window displays - we must have walked through the shops trying to avoid the crowds in the street or shopping:goodvibes They are really cute :)

As close as you live, I know you will have many chances to go and enjoy window displays next year. :)

Walking down Main Street or going through the Emporium with the crowd - both are crazy!

I've been horrible about keeping up on the Dis these days, but wanted to stop in and say hello! :goodvibes

You must have read my mind. I was thinking of you a couple of days ago. Hope you guys had a great Christmas. I was wondering if Chuck has left yet. I thought he was leaving shortly after the holidays.

I am so glad you thought to stop in. We miss you on the boards, but understand you have been very occupied lately.

I didn't even seen those window displays. :sad2: Amazing!! Wonderful pictures of the statue.

And you posted a picture of the balloons....and not just the mylar ones! That had to be difficult. I suppose the Christmas decorations above them helped though, huh? :goodvibes ;)

The Pop tree is very cool! I love the classic ornaments, like the tree I grew up with.

:rotfl2: It was for about 4.8 seconds....

How sweet! I love her names for them! Henry once saw "the silly blue thing one that pops his hair up" and said "Ahhhh!" as he pointed to it.

It pains me to see the balloons, but a balloon picture is a must. Maybe someday Mickey balloons will help me get over my claustrophobia. ;)

As for Drew holding Bella, I guess it was a have-to situation for that 4.8 seconds.

Yeah - I am all caught up. I have been slacking off at work for the last hour so could be up to speed. I love the window scene pics and the pictures that Drew took of Bella are adorable. I made a gingerbread house a few years ago and it turned out AWFUL.... You guys did a great job.

I am actually heading to the world this weekend. Joe's parents live in Orlando now so am going to be making lots of weekend trips.

I have decided that I am going to be there when you guys are there. I am just checking to see if I can use my DVC at Boardwalk or Beach club. I am only going to be there from July 2nd - 5th (have to save dates for my Honeymoon), but I was hoping we could meet up again. I will be solo - my friends are staying in a time share off site.

Relatives in Orlando? Aren't you the lucky one? :thumbsup2

We're planning on having a counter service meal somewhere with Wigd and Shocker, so you can join us! We'll start comparing schedules and see what works. It may be at a resort so things are not so crowded, or it might be at Sunshine Seasons where there is a good selection for everyone, but just not at a peak eating time so it's not so crowded.. I'm not picky. Whatever anyone wants to do.

Hi MeMom! Hope your Tuesday is going well. I'm getting ready to start my first class of the semester! It's crazy thinking I'm starting my Master's. Here's what my schedule looks like:

Mondays-
Individual Counseling Techniques 4-6:52 p.m.

Tuesdays-
Theories of Counseling & Psychotherapy - 4-6:52 p.m.

Wednesdays-
Intro. to Professional Counseling - 7-9:52 p.m.

You should be able to analyze us all after those classes.

I can go ahead and do it for you, though.
We're all crazy. :crazy2:

Yay, all caught up! Bella & Brooklynn are too cute.

They are our little sweeties, for sure. I wish I could see them every day.

When I am taking the pictures, I so often have in mind capturing the feeling of where I am standing and sharing it with others, so it really does my heart good to know that you are feeling that when you are looking at the pictures.

I'll have to keep my eyes open. We have a Barnes and Noble at Opry Mills.

You'll enjoy the gingerbread house when everyone is feeling well. :goodvibes

A couple more pictures of Walt and Mickey.

This fixings bar was a big mess!

I couldn't get a decent shot of the Pirates. Jack Sparrow wouldn't be still.

IMG_2184.jpg

A quick shot as the showboat went by.

IMG_2186.jpg

I would be seeing this later with Brooklynn. I knew she was going to love it!

Someone had dropped a bunch of fries, and the ducks were getting all they could get before the CM could get them picked up.

Fun stuff going on at the castle.

You all are so sweet! I've been making the rounds today and I can't believe how many people remember my husband's name. :goodvibes

Yes, his ship deployed a few weeks ago. We've all been adjusting to a different kind of life. We're used to having him gone for periods of time, but not used to having to worry about him or have so little contact.

Here are a couple of recent pictures - one taken right before Christmas and one taken the day before Chuck left:

I hope to be around more now that things have calmed down.

Seriously random ending times for those classes!

Seriously, looking at your pictures, I can see myself there and even hear the music (for some reason I have had the music that you hear in Liberty Square stuck in my head :rotfl:)

I love the ducks in Disney for some reason. I have a picture of a couple that were just sitting at the bus stop in MK waiting with us.

AWww, I love, love, love the Mr. Toad's shirt!!! How cute is that!!!!!!!!!
Sure wish I had saw that! :)

I love the shopping pictures..it made me realize I forgot to buy something I had my eyes on!! The Fiesty mints!!!

I must say I love all your pictures, but I have mixed feelings about looking at them. They bring back such wonderful memories, but they also make me miss being there terribly. lol
I love the Walt and Mickey statue from most any angle. Your pictures are so great. Loving this update.

I couldn't get a decent shot of the Pirates. Jack Sparrow wouldn't be still.

IMG_2184.jpg

Jack Sparrow never sits still :rotfl:

I like the Splash Mountain pictures! That's gonna be closed when I'm there :sad2:

Oh, I have a question! Was Toontown still open when you were there? I don't think I ever heard an exact closing date.

Great pictures of your stroll through MK. I am looking forward to your pictures of the showboat with Brooklynn. I have always enjoyed looking and taking pictures around the castle of the different statues.

Facebook Trent, as he did some phone pictures straight to Facebook. I put up some new ones in my family section, too.

.

Memom and Jill, Will ya'll facebook me so I can see your pics, Elena Oliveri Hiett? and Trent too? I love to look at your pictures!:)
Count me in as another person that didn't see the Mickey Christmas Carol display. I need to pay more attention to things. I also cut through the Emporium instead of walking down the sidewalk, which could be why I didn't see them.

I love all your Walt and Mickey pictures. That is such a great statue. And I love to see your random wanderings.

MeMom I love love love your photos of the Partners statue! I love that statue! I have a bunch of photos like that in my castle collage. I love the different angles of your's though! I'll have to remember that for my next trip! I'm excited to see more pictures of the showboat! I loved The Princess and the Frog! It was so sweet! I hope the show is still going in April!

Oh by the way Jill your twin was in again today! But her name is Lilliana and she has a daughter and a baby boy. Today she bought a collander and baby socks! I was just chuckling to myself when she left. :)

I really liked Princess Tiana's Showboat Jubilee! I love all the music from The Princess & The Frog!

Such sweet pictures of your guys. They are holding their dad close, too. I know that all of the energy and fun those boys put out every day helps you not to have too much time to sit around and think or be sad about Chuck being gone!

Come on out and 'play' here any time you have the chance. We're good for some escape from reality quite often. :)

Seriously random ending times for those classes!

Those two minutes here and there will be the difference in what kind of psychologist (or whatever exactly her title will be) she turns out to be! ;)

Feel free to sing for us.

Yes, Disney ducks are just a little more fascinating than ducks at home, aren't they? To live in Disney World and have people feed you and ooh and aah over you every day - surely that is where the term 'lucky duck' started, right? ;)

AWww, I love, love, love the Mr. Toad's shirt!!! How cute is that!!!!!!!!!
Sure wish I had saw that! :)

I love the shopping pictures..it made me realize I forgot to buy something I had my eyes on!! The Fiesty mints!!!

The Mr. Toad shirt is cool. At least they do remember him in some small way, besides sticking him in the graveyard.

I was going to buy the wicked apple ones for a teacher friend of mine, but I never did go back to get them.

I must say I love all your pictures, but I have mixed feelings about looking at them. They bring back such wonderful memories, but they also make me miss being there terribly. lol
I love the Walt and Mickey statue from most any angle. Loving this update.

They do the same for me. They make me long to be standing back in the same spot with the warm sun shining down and music filling the air around me. Sometimes I think I should take a break from the Disboards and maybe my longings would die down, but I think I am addicted.

Jack Sparrow never sits still :rotfl:

I like the Splash Mountain pictures! That's gonna be closed when I'm there :sad2:

Oh, I have a question! Was Toontown still open when you were there? I don't think I ever heard an exact closing date.

Toontown is still alive and well. Take lots of pictures, because we will look back on them fondly in the future.

Great pictures of your stroll through MK. I am looking forward to your pictures of the showboat with Brooklynn. I have always enjoyed looking and taking pictures around the castle of the different statues.

We didn't get to see the showboat until the very end, so I hope you plan to hang around for a few months!

Those mini-statues are very cool and worthy of taking the time to see. They're pretty cute.

Memom and Jill, Will ya'll facebook me so I can see your pics, Elena Oliveri Hiett? and Trent too? I love to look at your pictures!:)

Will do.

Disney has so many cool window displays. Be sure to check them out if you're ever there in October, too. They have some fun Halloween displays.

I love all your Walt and Mickey pictures. That is such a great statue. And I love to see your random wanderings.

Well, I am surely a Disney wanderer, so you will probably get your fill of them during this report.

MeMom I love love love your photos of the Partners statue! I love that statue! I have a bunch of photos like that in my castle collage. I love the different angles of your's though! Supposedly, the showboat show was ending in January, but with all the costuming they did, I am hoping they intend to carry it on longer.

I really liked Princess Tiana's Showboat Jubilee! I love all the music from The Princess & The Frog!

The music was great. I know two families with boys who saw it this weekend, and the both liked it, so it's definitely not too girly. Jill bought the CD, and the music is awesome by itself.

:rotfl2: Well if you're crazy, then I like crazy!

I think so too Jill!

Aw..I miss Frontierland right about now!

I'll meet you at the Liberty Bell at lunchtime. We'll walk around Frontierland.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could really make that happen??? :dance3:

Good Morning! Listening to live 365 disney music and hoping its a good day for everyone! 6 more days for me until POP!!! and my DD knows nothing about it!

I can't believe it took me 50 pages to get over here! :sad2: But I am finally here, caught up and anxious for more. :goodvibes
