You all are so sweet! I've been making the rounds today and I can't believe how many people remember my husband's name.
Yes, his ship deployed a few weeks ago. We've all been adjusting to a different kind of life. We're used to having him gone for periods of time, but not used to having to worry about him or have so little contact.
Here are a couple of recent pictures - one taken right before Christmas and one taken the day before Chuck left:
I hope to be around more now that things have calmed down.
Such sweet pictures of your guys. They are holding their dad close, too. I know that all of the energy and fun those boys put out every day helps you not to have too much time to sit around and think or be sad about Chuck being gone!
Come on out and 'play' here any time you have the chance. We're good for some escape from reality quite often.
Seriously random ending times for those classes!
Those two minutes here and there will be the difference in what kind of psychologist (or whatever exactly her title will be) she turns out to be!
Seriously, looking at your pictures, I can see myself there and even hear the music (for some reason I have had the music that you hear in Liberty Square stuck in my head

)
I love the ducks in Disney for some reason. I have a picture of a couple that were just sitting at the bus stop in MK waiting with us.
Feel free to sing for us.
Yes, Disney ducks are just a little more fascinating than ducks at home, aren't they? To live in Disney World and have people feed you and ooh and aah over you every day - surely that is where the term 'lucky duck' started, right?
AWww, I love, love, love the Mr. Toad's shirt!!! How cute is that!!!!!!!!!
Sure wish I had saw that!
I love the shopping pictures..it made me realize I forgot to buy something I had my eyes on!! The Fiesty mints!!!
The Mr. Toad shirt is cool. At least they do remember him in some small way, besides sticking him in the graveyard.
I was going to buy the wicked apple ones for a teacher friend of mine, but I never did go back to get them.
I must say I love all your pictures, but I have mixed feelings about looking at them. They bring back such wonderful memories, but they also make me miss being there terribly. lol
I love the Walt and Mickey statue from most any angle. Loving this update.
They do the same for me. They make me long to be standing back in the same spot with the warm sun shining down and music filling the air around me. Sometimes I think I should take a break from the Disboards and maybe my longings would die down, but I think I am addicted.
Jack Sparrow never sits still
I like the Splash Mountain pictures! That's gonna be closed when I'm there
Oh, I have a question! Was Toontown still open when you were there? I don't think I ever heard an exact closing date.
Toontown is still alive and well. Take lots of pictures, because we will look back on them fondly in the future.
Great pictures of your stroll through MK. I am looking forward to your pictures of the showboat with Brooklynn. I have always enjoyed looking and taking pictures around the castle of the different statues.
We didn't get to see the showboat until the very end, so I hope you plan to hang around for a few months!
Those mini-statues are very cool and worthy of taking the time to see. They're pretty cute.
Memom and Jill, Will ya'll facebook me so I can see your pics, Elena Oliveri Hiett? and Trent too? I love to look at your pictures!

Count me in as another person that didn't see the Mickey Christmas Carol display. I need to pay more attention to things. I also cut through the Emporium instead of walking down the sidewalk, which could be why I didn't see them.
Will do.
Disney has so many cool window displays. Be sure to check them out if you're ever there in October, too. They have some fun Halloween displays.
I love all your Walt and Mickey pictures. That is such a great statue. And I love to see your random wanderings.
Well, I am surely a Disney wanderer, so you will probably get your fill of them during this report.
MeMom I love love love your photos of the Partners statue! I love that statue! I have a bunch of photos like that in my castle collage. I love the different angles of your's though! I'll have to remember that for my next trip! I'm excited to see more pictures of the showboat! I
loved The Princess and the Frog! It was so sweet! I hope the show is still going in April!
Oh by the way Jill your twin was in again today! But her name is Lilliana and she has a daughter and a baby boy. Today she bought a collander and baby socks! I was just chuckling to myself when she left.
Supposedly, the showboat show was ending in January, but with all the costuming they did, I am hoping they intend to carry it on longer.
I really liked Princess Tiana's Showboat Jubilee! I love all the music from The Princess & The Frog!
The music was great. I know two families with boys who saw it this weekend, and the both liked it, so it's definitely not too girly. Jill bought the CD, and the music is awesome by itself.

Well if you're crazy, then I like crazy!
I think so too Jill!
Aw..I miss Frontierland right about now!
I'll meet you at the Liberty Bell at lunchtime. We'll walk around Frontierland.
Wouldn't it be cool if we could really make that happen???
