New to Universal parks...

We are at a premiere hotel so have early entry and express pass so Hagrids Motorbike is the ride we are trying to figure out.

Our days its only US that have early entry. Do we have an advantage going in to US during early entry to get a jump on the crowd? I know the Hogwarts express connects the 2 parks, but is there another way?

Or do we just line up early at the entrance to IOA with everyone else?

This is the only ride we are really worried about planning sine we can't use express passes for it. And I think we would rather jump in the queue early rather than chance the virtual queue if it opens.

I would line up at at IOA entrance early for the ride

Wait your time out until you can enter the park

Hagrids is a decent ride and you’ll like it

HE is not the fastest way to go from the Studios to the other park
Lines are long as every one else has the same thought you do .... HE to the other park

You'll basically have to choose to either stand in a longer line for Hagrid's if you do EE at USO or sacrifice EE to get in line for park open at IOA. We chose the later & basically walked on to Hagrid's . It's my favorite ride of all time 😊! The Hogwart's Express will NOT get you over to IOA until AFTER the park open crowd is already rolling thru the line.

Thank you...I wasn't sure if you could just "walk" from one park to the other. Looks like we will just wait in line at IOA.

We were there in November and there was a walk through from park to park-beside Rip Ride/Minions in US to Seuss Land in IOA. Is this not open that early? Or maybe only open certain days?

When we were there last week it was only open one day - not sure what "triggers" it to open up.

You can always exit one park & walk over & enter the other park - maybe 5 min brisk walk.

Okay-thank you, must be based on crowd size...? So, if the walk through in the middle of parks is not open, the only option to switch parks is HE or walk out the front gate of one park and into the front gate of another park? Am I correct?

Could be crowd size - & yep, you got it now regarding options to switch parks 👍!
