Rides that may not be comfortable for adults at US

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any specific rides at Universal Studios that might be a tight fit for a larger adult? If so, are they too tight because of seating or over the shoulder harnesses? Do they call attention to you in the line if you are larger? Any advice would be great.

There are a few rides that are a bit restrictive. All have test seats at the front before you enter the rides. There are always people trying out those seats, so you shouldn't feel centered out at all.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

Islands of Adventure-
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Dragon Challenge
The Incredible Hulk
Doctor Doom's Fear Fall
Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls

Forbidden Journey has sadly become a bit infamous for its snug seats; they're a bit more restrictive than the other rides as the seat is basically a small box with a harness. However, there are modified seats on every vehicle. Try the test seat out front first- if you get a yellow light you can sit in the modified seat. Also, there is a part towards the end of the line where a Team Member is responsible for pulling people out of the line and testing them in an additional test seat. If you got a yellow or green light outside, you can tell them and you most likely won't be pulled out of line

Thanks for the responses. I will only be going to US, not IOA...so it sounds like the only two that should have any possible issue are the Mummy, and Rip Ride Rocket. Are the modified seats easy to identify while standing in line, or would a team member escort you to it?

On Revenge of the Mummy...the back row has more leg room which is the modified row. Believe me when I tell you...riding in the back row on ROTM is not a bad thing...if you like air time.

At Rockit, the modified seating is in row 3. The test seat is just before the ride entrance. You must get a green light on the test seat. Be sure to tell the TM at the top of the line if you need row 3.

For Mummy, the back has the most leg room. And like Metro said, the back is also great for giving extra air time.

Thanks everyone. So on Rockit, what makes the seat modified? Is it bigger, or more leg room like in the Mummy?

The seat is tiered (more leg room), plus it's a little wider and the lapbar is more accommodating.

Flight of the hippogriff has more legroom in the front car.

The hulk tightens up as you ride it.

A note if you are female: The seats on both Mummy and HPFJ have a very high barrier in the center front of the seat base to keep you from sliding forward. I'm short and like to wear skorts in the parks, and I found that I had to be careful and pay attention as I got in and out to keep from snagging my skort on that doohickey.

Tell the TM at the top of the stairs that you would like to sit in the back/row 4.
