Rides that get better after dark?

BTMR is absolutely our favorite. The kids and I always end up riding this over and over at the end of the night in MK. Splash is good too as long as its warm out in case you get wet. I'd like to try Astro Orbiter as I be that would be awesome at night. EE is really good too. Something about stopping at the top with the broken track at night adds to the drama, and then going backwards at night is fun too. Jungle Cruise is like a different ride at night as others have said and lots of fun. I would say that Pirates is better too, I know its inside but walking into the building and going through all the pirate jail cells etc... at night feels different. Kind of like Haunted mansion. I would have to agree that they are all better but these are my favorites.

Thunder Mountain, 7 Dwarfs, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion (just because of the effects they use on the façade at night) although I'd disagree with the Jungle Cruise you miss a lot of the details of the ride at night, much better to see everything the ride has to offer in daylight imo.

the hot air balloon at DTD. It is so peaceful with all the views of all the lights and with a nice breeze up there.

We like BTMRR so much better at night that we refuse to ride during the day.

The Jungle Cruise is much better at night too.

If you can ride the railroad during sunset, it's beautiful, especially the view of the Contemporary from the Main St Station. I also like the World Showcase after dark. Some of the hotels are just wonderful too, like the main building at Port Orleans Riverside.

Thats very true. Being in the WS after Illuminations and slowly making your way out from the back is one of the coolest experiences in WDW.

hands down mine train. purposely rode it during day and night to compare. nighttime you can't see what's coming and made it much more thrilling. during the day it seemed a little lame lol.
