The TTA at night for me is extra relaxing, just wow seeing MK all lit up its extra magical and relaxing. As others have said BTMRR is a great ride at night as well this isnt a ride, but the monorail as it goes around EPCOT is really nice if you ask me as well.

I had never rode any rides at night until our last trip. It's like riding them for the first time! Jungle Cruise is the best. All of the aminals and props look more realistic.
Splash Mountain and BTMRR are so much more festive, and the mood of those rides are so different in the dark.
I also love riding TTA at night. It's so amazing to see Tomorrowland all lit up and neon-ed out.
One that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet is Test Track. The outside portion seems so much faster and more exciting when it's dark out.
In general, if you like the ride during the day, you'll love it after dark! Enjoy your trip!!!

I also agree with the common sentiment at MK, Big thunder, Jungle Cruise, and Splash (the view of the castle and Contemporary lit up from the top is stunning).

At DHS the fire effects look better at the shows that use them (Indy, LMA, Catastophy Canyon)

My favorite memory from all my visits to Disneyland over the years was riding BTMRR during the fireworks. It just doesn't get any better than that. I'm sure WDW's version of the ride would be just as spectacular. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Has nobody mentioned the Haunted Mansion? We think it is better at night. Just because the whole setup is more "haunted" from the time you start walking towards it in the dark, into the dark ride, exit back into the dark... no daylight "happiness" to break the mood.

I can't believe HM took so long to be mentioned!! I love HM at night. Also love Jungle Cruise, Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain.... oh and I love the Tomorrowland Transit Authority at night.

Also DH and DS rode the speedway during the fireworks and DS (2 trips later) still swears is the best place to see the fireworks. He loved it!

Although this past trip we saw them from BTMRR and he did love that too!

We had 2 fastpasses left and RAN to Splash Mountain...got there right at 9:59 and went straight to the boat, with no one in front of us. We got the front seat, and it was timed just right that we hit the big drop right as the finale to Wishes started. It was pretty awesome!! I would definitely recommend trying this only IF you've seen it another time that week.

I have to agree...Splash mountain is amazing at night esp during the fireworks....BTMRR and Haunted Mansion are all great at nite as well.

In MGM ToT is great to do in the dark....always hit that one during EMH.

BUt i have to say that Test Track is prob my favorite ride at nite....I am not sure why its just so much fun racing around the track at night with the lights from the ball!!

This thread makes me wanna go back RIGHT NOW and go on all these rides at night!! We usually end up leaving the parks before or very soon after dinner (unless we have planned to see a fireworks show) since we stay with friends offsite in Kissimmee.......but BTMRR and EE are my absolute faves and it sounds like they are awesome at night!

Maybe next time we will just need to plan later arrival times in the morning so we aren't so zonked early in the evening

Astro Orbiter is fun at night and so is Splash Mountain. When you're at the top of that hill you can see EVERYTHING. It's especially fun during the fireworks. BTMRR is also really fun at night.

Big Thunder Railroad and Splash Mountain are my favorite night rides at MK.

As far as Tower of Terror, it really isn't the same as a normal free-fall ride. You are inside for most of it and at least IMO it feels more like a really fast elevator than it does a free-fall.

Our favorite at night is test track. I love when you fly out on to the track at night time - much cooler experience.

I love riding TTA at night. You get to see all of the lights in Tomorrowland. Test Track is great at night too.

Don't get me wrong: the parks are beautiful with flowers,etc. in the day time. but at night, with the lights and if it's a clear night, it just makes the rides somehow better.

Last trip, we went on Living with the Land at night. The greenhouse looks SO COOL at night with all the lights on.

Swiss Family Treehouse has a fabulous view from the top at night. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Jungle Cruise and Astro Orbiter also are great at night.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is our favorite nighttime ride. We try to time it so that we are on the ride during the fireworks. We have done this two or three time and it is so fun.
