I am not sure if this is the right place to post this , but I will be traveling w/ a 5 mo. old and was wondering if an infant can go on rides like buzz and pooh and Haunted mansion. Thanks for any advice.

Yes, an infant can go on those rides. My ds went on as an infant and had fun looking at all the colors and moving objects. Enjoy!!

I took my infant DS who was 3 months when he first went on everything without a height restriction! He was great on all the rides. It never slowed us down. With the parent swap, it works great too on the big rides. Take advantage of the baby centers. They are wonderful!! I would do things like American Adventure, Hall of Presidents, etc to get him into some airconditioning ( it was in the 80's that January!! ) and it was also a good place to feed him too! Have a great time!

If you have and are comfortable using a sling, I would recommend taking it. It helped when we had to stand in line for rides and had to leave the stroller behind. It also helped me keep my dd (10mo.) secure on my lap.
Btw, she LOVED it's a small world. We took her on everything not height restricted including maelstrom in the Norway pavillion.
Hope that helps! :goodvibes

Our daughter was 7mo when we took and she rode ALOT of things. Like everyone said everything without a height restriction she went on and LOVED. We even took her on the safari at AK and she fell asleep from the motion

Everyone's children are different so only you know this about your child... but we took our youngest DD when she was small on Buzz Lightyear and it "freaked" her out, so to speak. I would have never thought that, but I forgot there is the "evil emperor Zurg"! I also would hesitate on Haunted Mansion, but only because it is dark! Pooh is a wonderful ride and your entire family should love it!

Hope that helps... :goodvibes

My son had a problem with Haunted Mansion when he was 2 though did fine when he was 1. It helped to have something that lit up. I also would avoid the 3D movies at AK and Epcot. They are too scary and intense. He did fine with the 3D movies at MK and MGM, except he stuck the straight part of the 3D glasses up his nose at MGM's Muppetvision.
