Rider switch window for group 2

Last time we used rider switch we received a paper pass and the second group of riders could return at any time that day (or even within a few days) to ride. Is this the same or is there now a limited time for the second group to ride (i read somewhere group 2 only has 1 hour to use their rider switch pass)? Can i hold multiple rider switch passes at the same time or do i have to use the one we have before obtaining one for a new ride? Does the switch pass go onto my magic band now? Thanks in advance for the clarification.

Rider swap for children too short to ride is added to your MagicBand. There was a 1-hour window for group2 to ride, though I think that's essentially ignored or maybe dropped completely, however you may only hold 1 RS at a time so you'll need to use it before getting another.
