Hello- I have a quesiton about the rider switch. At WDW when we get the rider switch pass, my husband is able to go on a ride with our 2 daughters (either through the stand by or FP queue) while I stay with the baby. Then I ride with our 2 girls while DH stays with the baby. So basically, at WDW the rider switch pass is good for up to 3 people. I think I have seen a couple things say that at DL the rider swap is only good for 2 people, so I would choose only 1 of my daughters to ride with. Is this correct? I will want to give them the heads up so there won't be disappointment (even though the trip is a surprise at this point) Thanks! I do love the way they do it at WDW so each of us can ride with both girls each time.

I think it depends on the CM, as I have used Rider Switch to ride with my nephew and daughter, then my mom took them both back on again [DS doesn't like BTMR]

Might it depend on the ride? Like, I'm thinking one more child is not a problem on Haunted Mansion or Ariel's ride where a parent and two kids is only one "vehicle" or row. But on one where a third rider would have to get in a second row of seats or something, maybe then the swap is only good for one person in addition to the swapped adult?
I have the same issue of going with two "big" kids and a toddler who is too short for some of the flashier rides.

That makes sense... I don't think they do rider swaps on any ride that the baby can ride (like Haunted Mansion and Ariel). But something like Soarin' might not matter- or maybe even Splash at DL. Maybe it will depend on crowds as well (which I am hoping will be low). We will definitely ask the CM's- that is good to know. Just curious if there was an official policy about it.

As of June it was 3 people, but I haven't been the last 2 months so it could be different. And yes, they only offer rider swap on rides that babies can't go on (thrill rides). You can also ask the very helpful CM's at the Baby Care Center.

We went earlier this month, and the only ride we did Rider Switch for was California Screamin'.

For that ride, the return pass was definitely only for a rider and only one companion.

My husband had to point it out to me, because I was just used to WDW, where it is always three people who can come back on. It caused us quite a problem because both of my older sons love that coaster, and only one could go back on at a time. One boy ended up getting to go one time more than his brother - and it was just the most unfair thing that has ever happened in the history of the world. :headache:

Just wanted to point out that we have used child swap on TSMM before, so it's not necessarily only the rides with height requirements. :goodvibes
