RideMax Users Thread (FAQs Linked in First Post!)

How much room does Ridemax take up on your computer? Mine is a few years old, and I'm wondering if I would be better off loading it onto my sister's newer computer.

When you get a FP, it will have a return window. Say you get your RnR FP at 9:30 and it will have a return window of 10:30-11:30.

And yes, with the crowds getting worse, Mark may have increased the wait bucket. One other point, I have often made the same plan, back to back with different results. Or making a minor change can end up making a major change to the plan.

Bucket = the wait predictions for a particular crowd level.

This is why I'm waiting until the day before we leave to print my final touring plans!

It is small at under 1 mg for the software, it does require going online to his server to get data and make the plan. So size would not be an issue, but speed might be. Again though it will be more of your Internet speed then your computer speed.

I print mine to PDF with cutePDF (free software) so that I can compare several plans. This way I can also email them to myself at home or you could share them with others that are traveling with you (not others though).

I bought this and put together a great week at Disney. If this actually works, it will have been worth the price and then some. It's showing me wait times of less than 15 minutes on most attractions the week of April 19th!!!!

I'm crossing my fingers!!!

I'll be there that week also. I'm using Ridemax now to figure out a plan. As long as you're ready to go at ropedrop we should be fine.

I'm trying really hard to wait to buy RM until closer to my trip. I want to still be within my 30-day money back guarantee time frame at the end of my trip, so that if RM is a complete failure, I can at least get my money back from it. But, I want to PLAY!! I downloaded it way too prematurely and the writer refunded me in order to re-purchase closer to my trip. What little I got to play with it before realizing I had dl'ed too early, it was VERY cool to play with it.

I'm finally getting the hang of this now after reading this entire thread and asking a couple of dumb questions. I have one problem left...if I visit AK in the afternoon, say around 1 pm on a level 9 day it is not giving me any fast passes and is showing wait times for KS around 154 minutes. It's basically telling me I'm out of luck if I park hop in the afternoons. Is this correct? AK is a problem with it's early closing at 6 pm.

Just reran my plans for MK on Saturday May 2 and Epcot Monday May 4 - no changes to wait times or plans at all. Just an FYI!!!

The program could think that all the Fast Passes will be gone by then (or the return time later than your "get in line for the last ride" time). If that's the case, then it won't have you use Fast Pass at all. HTH. --Katie

If the crowd level is truly a 9 at the park you want to jump to there will NOT be any FPs left and jumping to that park is not a good idea. The only reason to hop to a maxed out crowd level park is because you have ADRs or you are there only for the ambiance - not the rides....

I wonder how crowded the animal exhibit trails on are a 9 level day?

Aniaml Kingdom is a great afternoon park, most people leave after the parade. The lines are really low the last hour the park is open usually. The walking trails should be good anytime of the day IMO... :)

I haven't read through the entire thread, but I'm curious what they plans look like once you've printed them out. I know the website has a sample plan for DL & DW, but it's so small! Would anyone mind sending me a pm with a copy of one of their plans?

And I wonder why they don't have Sundays in the program yet - that seems a bit odd. :confused3

They don't do Sundays because they are family business and Sunday is their day off. I don't know if it is religious or not but I respect them if they are observing the Sabbath day. They actually tour the parks frequently to determine the wait times and best iteniary. This is why Sunday is not listed because they don't work on that day.

I admit I haven't had a chance to read through all of this, so I'm sorry if this has already been posted. How does it work if you want to make ADR at the 90-day mark but you're not supposed to buy RM until after that point? Do you just pick your fav restaurants, buy RM, then call for your ADR that very day? Or should I go ahead and book ADR then just work those into the RM schedule?
I knew RideMax would be for me cause I'm soooooo O.C.D. I just really want to make sure we get to eat at the places we want. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi everyone, I had a quick question.

A few days ago I ordered Ridemax, played with it and didn't care for the touring plans. I know ya'll like it but it was't the touring plan for us.

Anyway, I emailed them to get a refund and I haven't heard anything back. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a refund?:hippie:
