Carousel of Progress or It's a Small World. Carousel is down a lot, and I think we've been stuck on it at least 33% of the time. Small world seems to be less often, but much, much worse to be stuck on.
We just got stuck on Test Track this past weekend while going around the 55mph curve. Luckily it was only a couple of minutes. When we got finished they asked if we wanted to ride it again.
Definitely Splash Mountain. We've gotten stuck on it almost every time we ride it, but it's our favourite MK ride so I don't mind at all!! I would much rather be stuck on the ride than stuck in a queue.
On our last trip we broke down on the Haunted Mansion two out of the three times we went on the ride. The last breakdown lasted for almost ten minutes and required multiple CM to walk through the haunted corridors to make sure nobody got out of the doombuggy! That really took us out of the ride theme!
Is it odd that some of my best memories from WDW is from being stuck on one ride or another? I love really getting to look at everything and noticing stuff that I never would have been able to catch before...and giggling like two little school girls with my mom when we do something crazy!
It seems that whenever we are in WDW for Spring Break, RnR is down for some reason or another. I was never on the ride itself when it broke down, just in line. Ugh.
Aren't most of those "breakdowns" on constant moving rides like Buzz, HM, Snow White, etc. just them stopping the belt so a guest with DISabilities can get on? I assume that if the ride stops for <2-3 minutes it was someone trying to get on.
Just like someone else's post, I was stuck on ToT just after the car went forward and stopped just before entering the elevator shaft. 20 minutes later a CM showed up and took us down a real elevator to the front of the line of the other shaft that was still working.

I agree..it sounds like many of these are not breakdowns and can also include people without disabilities too in the load or unload areas. I would also speculate some rides have advanced safety features that stop the ride too...that are triggered under specific conditions-situations. They clear the issue, reset the system and the ride starts up again.
A breakdown to me is when the ride stops and they come and escort you out of your seat and out the door. The ride is now closed.

I'm a little more generous - I figure anything up to a 5 minute delay is either a boarding/unboarding issue, or a slight safety glitch that needed to be resolved. Unfortunately, those are less common IME than the 45+ minute wait.
I voted for some other ride. Every single time I go, Snow White breaks down! I have no idea what it is. Also, the same with Buzz Lightyear. No doubt, I'm sitting thru at least 1-2 breakdowns a ride, esp. Buzz!
We have had Rockin Roller Coaster break down on our last 3 trips. We were stuck on the ride for about 20 minutes the last time it happened. We all had fun anyway - it is Disney!!!
