Ride share to Beach Club

We are staying at SS and going to Epcot for one day. My husband has mobility issues and we will be renting a scooter at Epcot. If we take a Lyft to the Beach Club and walk to the Gateway Entrance (so we’ll be closer to Remy), will we have any trouble with the Lyft driver getting into Beach Club to just drop us off? I know typically you cannot enter a hotel parking lot unless you having dining reservations.

You most likely won't be allowed in. Last year I took an Uber to Beach Club since I had a reservation at Cape May Cafe and I was asked to confirm my reservation before entering. I saw cars turning around so I assumed they didn't have dining reservations.

Haven't tried, but I've seen it suggested that you can do this at the Swan or Dolphin.

Since you'll be renting a scooter, why not Uber to the front of Epcot? No issues with potentially being turned away. Scooter rental is handy.

Your chances of getting through the BC security kiosk are slim. I've taken lyft to EP resorts multiple times for ADRs and am always interrogated prior to being let through. Your best bet is lyft to Swan/Dolphin (but it is a bit of a walk to the boat dock from there) or bus to DHS, boat/Skyliner to EP. Or, as PP suggested, simply take the bus from SSR to EP.

Another option is to take a ride share to DHS then take Skyliner to IG if you are hoping to decrease walking.

Ride shares are not allowed to enter resorts without proof of a dining reservation.

The IG entrance is intended for guests staying at Epcot resorts (BC/YC/BW/Swan/Dolphin) or guests transfering from DHS to Epcot or guests arriving via Skyliner at IG. If you are staying at SS and you choose to take an Uber/Lyft you should go directly to the Epcot main entrance.
