Ride Lines and Emergency Park Closing

Do we have any eyewitness reports on this:

1. When the parks announced their closing today (8/13) were all guests already in ride lines given the chance to ride?

2. Back on 9/11/01 were all guests already in ride lines given the chance to ride once the parks were declared closed?

Considering that so many people would be waiting for buses, monorails, etc. at the park exit and there was probably an hour's wait for some out there, it makes sense to serve all the people in ride lines rather than having to immediately send them out to join the waiting lines outside.

This is my "semi-educated" guess. If you are in line for a ride when the parks close, under normal circumstances, you get to ride. Since this was a predetermined early closing I would imagine that the same rules apply.... as long as you were in the line for the ride before 1pm, you got to ride. It's not like they suddenly announced at 12:50pm that the parks was unexpectedly closing in 10 minutes. They knew the night before.... so unless the weather made a sudden, unexpected turn for the worst, I'm sure that they probably held with normal closing routine.... Just my guess of course. Anyone out there with firsthand knowledge?....................P

I know that when a ride has shut down,ie Test Track with approaching bad weather,those in line have been given a "go to the head of the line" pass for the next time you want to ride.

9/11 and todays park closing are two entirely different circumstances. WDW determined at 7am this morning that the parks would close at 1pm (as the governor wanted everyone off the roads and at home between 2pm and 3pm). Because this was a pre-determined park closing it works the same as any other day as long as you are in line by the park closing time you will be able to ride.

On September 11 WDW and the rest of the World had no idea what was going on or why. WDW was shut down immediatly no questions asked. Guest were exited from the park ASAP (if you recall WDW was named as a target). The guests that were in line were immediatly exited from the attractions que lines and out of the park, rides were shut down immediatley. WDW has different phases of park closing, in the case of September 11 all avalaible transportation was immediatly dispatched and the parks were cleared of all guests ASAP (this process moves very quickly in an actual emergency...today's closing was not an emergency)
