All this talk of salmon helped me decide what we are having for dinner tonight! I think I'll go get salmon steaks for the grill. I LOVE that!

Today is evaluation day at work. For the first time since I've worked there, it won't be a face to face evaluation - we'll be doing it over the phone. I'm sure it'll be a good evaluation, but these things always leave me a little nervous.....

Have we heard from Mickey lately? I'm guessing that she's with her Dad these days and hopefully getting in to see her Mom continue to improve....

They made a game of it for a while, Diane. We were down 4-1 and they came back to make it 4-3 on the strength of a towering home run. But Columbus came right back to score 2 more and put it away!

I would think a non- face to face evaluation would be unerving though!

Diane,
I bought Cedar Planks at Williams Sonoma to put on the grill. You cook the salmon right on it!! They are delicious!! You can use each plank about 2 times before it burns up! lol

Well good morning all you crazy riddlers....

Overslept this morning, woke up from a BAAAAAD dream...DH and I were at some NWC race,and our seats were awful....I told DH this morning wherever I was dreaming about...we WERE NOT going there...to that....he promptly replied.....it was my fault anyways, since I always make the trip plans...lol...

Need a second cup of BLUEBERRY COBBLER coffee to get myself going this morning.....I know...sounds ucky.....tastes yummy!!!!

Sandi....the first trip we spent a week in Paris.....drove to Nante and then went south for a week to the wine country (Bordeaux).

The second trip I flew into Nice, took a train to Marseilles to meet up with my family and from there we hung out in Provence with a side trip to Cannes and Monte Carlo.

Both were magnificent trips.

I like the French Vanilla Creamer & the Vanilla Toffee Caramel one too.....both are in my fridge....just not in the morning....they're more desserty to me.

Just go to a building store like Home Depot and get a small bundle of cedar shakes. You have a BIG supply of cedar planks for grilling at a more affordable price!

Sandi, I'll be over after work for dinner. I've never had grilled salmon before but it sounds delicious. I think you should go to France, too!

Another quiet day here without the kids. We started on the shelving and rods in our new closet last night. We have a lot of space to fill up, so we are going to take it one wall at a time.
