The shrimp are raw and peeled and marinated in a little olive oil before skewering. The shrimp have to be made on their own skewers without veggies, because they cook too fast. I usually put a few lemon slices on the skewer with them.





I threatened to keep them because they added so much to my decor.

DD has ponyclub camp that starts on Monday afternoon (think massive packing, washing of horse, and towing to a remote location)... she is also SIGNED UP FOR SWIMMING LESSONS that start on Monday (kicking myself! DUH!) AND I am scheduled to be involved in a horrible couple of days at work all day Monday and through TUESDAY NIGHT with a public hearing for our local irrigators on an issue they are all hot under the collar about. Shoot. Can someone clone me?! To make matters worse... I am out of town until Sunday afternoon too... so no chance to do much advance prep to make this all work.
