ooh, dinner....it's almost 7, I can start thinking about that, right???



we're having terriyaki pork kabobs, with grilled pineapple, summer squash, zuchinni, vidalia onions, and red and green peppers.



Took a peak out at my garden last night...my cucumbers are halfway up the trellis...wooohoooo......nothing like a cucumber sandwich right out of the garden!

LOL I was trying to use up a Gift Certificate. I bought a new basket for veggies for the grill and had some money left over, that's how I ended up with them!

LOL! I just heard a loud SHRIEEK from the bathroom. Ran in there to see what was the problem, and DH forgot to turn the diverter on the shower before the water came on! He didn't appreciate the shock of cold water!

Steph, we will be having kabobs for our 4th party. We are combining the celebration with both kid's birthdays. I usually make kabobs with pork, beef, sausage, and shrimp and put them together with peppers, onions, new potatos, cherry tomatos, pineapple and mushrooms.

Sounds Good!! I've never tried the pork kabobs, just steak and chicken with terriyaki!

A buddy of mine is taking me out to the Elks Club tonight for dinner. They are having a steak barbeque! YUMMY!

Stephanie - that blueberry coffee sounds wonderful!

I love blueberries - they are so different that anything else! Have you ever tried Blueberry Morning cereal? YUMMMMMMMY!!!

Speaking of kabobs...We had them at our 90th birthday celebration Sunday. I got a bamboo sliver in my thumb while putting them together. It went so far in, we couldn't find it. When DS finally got it out, it was over a half inch long! They gave me a hard time about skewering myself!

I Love fresh blueberries IN my cereal. Granola and Blueberries!! Perfect Breakfast!!

First day of mythology camp - they made greecian urns / vases out of paper mache - and learned how to draw something - today they are decorating the urns among other things

Last night at swimming lessons - one of the life guards walked up to me and gave me the brochure on the local swim team and told me to call one of the coaches for dd

Morning Riddle Buddies!

BLUEBERRY COFFEE is my absolute favorite....when you put a little milk in it, it tastes like your eating a Bluberry Muffin (do you think I have a problem with dessert for breakfast?)!

Bernie! Best of luck with the evaluation today! I agree it must be strange not to be face to face...but look at it THIS way....you can roll your eyes and make wacky faces or even be wearing your version of the ANGEL uniform during it....and no one would notice! Sounds like an upside to ME!

The graduation was fabulous on Sunday (fortunately the weather cooperated)...it was great to be able to watch my neice gradute. As an added bonus - the valedictorian of the graduating class was a young man who lost over 100 pounds on WW and worked for me after losing his weight during his senior year! Oh The Places They'll Go!

I've not a CLUE on today's riddle, but wanted to start the mornin' with a riddle howdy and HOPEFULLY will have pants by the end of the day!

Hey that curtain reminds me of something.....lol


Have any of you ever heard of, or participated in a "pink flamingo" fund raiser??

The organization will "flamingo" a yard, and for a donation to the group, they will come back and pick up the flamingos....or you can purchase flamingo insurance for a set amount....or you can have someone else flamingoed...

I think it's a cute idea, if everyone is of the same frame of mind.

I don't seem to see any clues yet - is it time yet?

Ranatra - enjoy the day today - I have to work, so soak up the sun!! Glad to hear about Darren too!! Congrats on FPP & LPP!

All this talk about food is getting me hungry!!! Unfortunately, I pick the kids up from the in-laws tonight after work, and it is always a horrible surprise. I'm usually starving when I get home, or I pick up something from the drive-thru for me and the kids.
So think of me while you are eating your delicious dinners!

Steph - blueberry coffee? Yuck! My DH and I don't drink any coffee so I don't have to worry about that smell through my house.

Diane - hope your DH is o.k. now after the shower shock.

LTM, I was adamant that I was NOT going to like the blueberry coffee...but the co. I worked for sent it to me in my monthly shipment..and hey, if it's free, I drink it....

DH and I have been pleasantly surprised!!!
