Good morning all! It's taken me so long to read the whole thread that my pants beat me here! I have to run and get ready for a Dr's appointment.

No school buses here either today. This is only the second snow day for our kids this year. DD would have been home anyway because she still is sick.

It really is hard to believe how bad the Tigers have been!!! Syracuse was once their Triple-A farm club - way back then, they had some pretty decent teams! I think those were the days of Mickey Lolich and Denny McLain....

He lives in the town I live in & a few years back he cut in front of me in the deli line at the grocery store. He was very apologetic when he realized what he had done
Mickey Stanley lives in this town too..........do you remember him?? He's a home builder now.

Good Morning all!

There were no announcements that the school buses were cancelled or not, so Dan and Tim went to school. Dan was disappointed because he has a math test today. Looks like I have about 2" of snow to shovel and it's slowly letting up.

I hope the news is good at your DSM's appointment today, Diane. How stressful for your family!

I'm not having too much luck with the riddle this week. I get the "gist" of today's riddle too, but can't put it together yet. I think I'm just too side-tracked with getting ready for our trip to think straight!
