Good morning everyone! Back to work for me today. Glad to see the riddle going! We did not get any snow to speak of... Kind of wishing we would... as DD and I would have loved to go sledding this year. It has been such mild winters here lately (last several years) that we have not been able to do this. So yesterday, instead of sledding... we went for a winter hike.

Good morning, folks!

Thanks, Lars for posting a riddle this morning.

I've just finished shoveling out the driveway. We got about 8 inches here yesterday. It was really, really pretty - the snow fell through much of the day yesterday. Made driving to Mom's a bit treacherous, but we all made it there and back safely. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas day. We tried out a new game yesterday, Disney UNO! What a lot of fun. Similar to regular UNO, but with Disney characters and some interesting rule twists. A fun game in that kids of ALL ages can play along together.

We're off today to see the Lion King on IMAX. After that, we're planning on a visit with our friend Eva.

Sorry to hear about your DS's car, Sandi - but glad he's okay.....

LARS! Air hockey and game cube! WOWZA! I used to be a pretty decent air hockey player, back in the day!!! Won a drink or two at the neighborhood tavern.... You must be SO excited about your upcoming trip!!!!

Stephanie!!! I'm LOLing, only because you're fine and able to milk that a little bit!!!

Gail - I hope your work day goes quickly and you're back home in no time.

Gina - how is your DS doing? I hope he was feeling better for Christmas.

DblD - one of the gifts I found for Sharon this year was a guidebook to the hiking trails in New York State. It's a fairly comprehensive book. We've doen quite a bit of hiking around here, but this book is opening up all kinds of opportunities. It ws kind of neat reading about some of the places we've already been to. Brought back some neat memories, reading the descirptions in the books!

Good morning everyone.

I am turning into quite the lazy bones these days. Nice not to have to run off anywhere.

We had snow/rain/freezing slush yesterday. Went to my inlaws for dinner but SIL and her family couldn't get there so it was a small group. Still fun but something was missing.

Thanks Lars, for doing a riddle. It is nice to get together in the AM.

I had to guess twice!!!!!!!

I am sorry for all of you dealing with the snow, but I hope all of you had as good of a holiday as possible. I am working all week and it is cold here, too. 38 when I went to work at 6:30, only going to be in the 50s all week.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, snow notwithstanding.

Been riddleing off/on from Mom's this week on WebTV. Kind of slow so I'm only good for about one posting.

PM sent, I quizzed mom on this one and she's working on the family tree as we speak (think she's up to the fourth generation now ... LOL)

Steph - glad to here the ole pumpkin is OK, you keeping milking it for all it's worth. And DH has impeccable timing, "need some ice" ... I howling all the way out West.

Ranatra - glad to here DS is alright, that's pretty scary.

Dixie - snow or not, sounds like a wonderful time. BTW, thanks for the little lights, really festive.

Well, need to go pack up all the loot and the little pirate too ... LOL ... she was the star this year.
