Gail - I did get to Glo's a couple of summers ago and really had a great time. We're going to see if we can sneak away for the weekend and at least stop in to say hi! Looking forward to seeing you there!

We had a nice time today with Scottwdw and his family, and DIANE from the boards at the IMAX Lion King presentation. It really is a terrific movie - especially on the big screen. We had a great dinner at Ricks too. The prime rib was fantastic! Guess what though - we forgot our camera! Not a single picture was taken!!!

L6 - CONGRATULATIONS TO MATT AND THE LIGHTENING! I have everything crossed that I can and once I stop typing, my fingers will also cross! It's such a wonderful feeling to see the kids have a great time.....winning always helps....but having a great time is DA BOMB!

Little guy slept through the night. He went through bouts of moo moo eyes ...... "Mommy....I feel terrible" to jumping around pretending to be Spiderman. So I suspect we're on the road to recovery.

I'll have to go check out Dan's pictures. It's been awhile but his are always worth waiting for.

The Cape Meet? Tough weekend. Guess we'll wait and see.

Glad IMAX LK was fun, Bernie. I've actually never seen the movie completely through. Guess I should put that on my "to do" list.

a lazy weekend here...not by design, but by lack of motivation!!!
Snowed AGAIN last night...uck....now has turned to freezing rain.
Sorry to hear about all the sick darlings...hope they are all on the road to recovery soon.
EVERYONE here loves the new castle playset. DH spent about 1/2 hour with Boo exploring the MK. It was so cute!

Have a great day everyone, I"m off to grocery shop...then watch the race...I'll be in and out all day...

Good Morning Dwarves!
We have to leave in about 1/2 hour for the drive to Lansing to be ready for a noon game. If they win this gane (and they are favored to) we'll hang around Lansing until about 5 or 6 for the tournament championship game. I really hope they win!
I'm taking the camera so that if they do I can show you guys some pics tonight! Ah, who am I kidding, I'll take pics whether they win or not
They would get a huge trophy to be photographed with...kinda like winning the kiddie version of the Stanley cup.
I would definately need to own a Vicks Yankee Candle!!!

Hope all the sick little riddlers are starting to feel better....

I'll have to check out the details on Glo-Con ... that might be one I can make Went to Alex's meet last Labor Day and had a great time !

Yesterday I went with my friend and her daughter to a pottery studio .... you pick an finished unpainted piece of pottery and paint it ... then they glaze and fire it for you and you pick it up in a few days ... it was the first time I've ever done this and it was a lot of fun .... I painted one of those covered boxes that had a
3-D fish on the lid .... looking forward to seeing the finished product !

Hope your trip to Lansing turns into an all-day event Lars !

I am going to see the Stars on Ice show this afternoon ... Kurt Browning, Todd Eldredge, Katarina Witt among others.... should be a great show and I think we have good seats too since we ordered right after last year's show ... I'll let you know later how close we were !

Still have a sick chick here. Her fever was at a new high when she woke up but it's already dropped dramatically with Tylenol. I've already been grocery shopping and also made a quick trip to work in case I need to be home with EB tomorrow.

Bernie - I really hope you can head East for Glo's meet, we'd love to see you.

Gina - Fingers are crossed that Matt continues to jump around playing Spiderman!

Spb - Where re you seeing the show today? It will be in Providence next weekend and I believe Scott Hamilton is with them for some performances. We haven't seen Stars on Ice in several years. When did Kristi leave the show?

L6 - Hope we don't hear from you until this evening...and you have some great trophy pictures to share.

My Matt has little league tryouts today - keep your fingers crossed that he makes majors!!! I'll be home with EB and will be checking in.

Gail - the show today is in Bridgeport in a fairly new arena ... think they played Hartford on Friday night......Kristi was in the show last year, so I guess that was her farewell tour ! That would be awesome if Scott Hamilton was there ... I've seen him skate a few times and he is an awesome performer ! Hope your "sick chick" feels better soon ... hope we'll be able to meet up at Glo-con later in the year !

Hello everyone!! My sickies are still sick. DD seems to have her eyes infected by her cold. The are completely bloodshot and she says they hurt, plus they keep getting goop in them. Not a lot of fun! She also was sick to her stomach last night, at the same time as she had a nose bleed. The joys of parenthood. DS says his breathing is a little better today, and his stomach feels better, so hopefully he's on the mend.

I loved the pics of your meet yesterday E! It's so great to be able to see what people look like.

Looking forward to pics of Matt and his team after the games today L6! I hope they do well!

I LOVE Nora Roberts...she is my favorite author! I especially enjoy the trilogies...I like how she continues the characters...

We have been to Stars on Ice several times...I have seen Scott Hamilton in it...he is a *great* skater! I get emails from a mailing list and it said there is going to be a Stars On Ice broadcast on tv this week (I think it's on Thursday)...I will have to look for it...

I'm going to give you the official "GINA'S CLEANING LESSONS 101". Now....ATTENTION!

1. Never, ever clean unless someone else complains about it.

2. ONLY clean after insisting on compensation. Compensation consists of baubles, jewelry or money. If none of the aforementioned are forthcoming....GO ON STRIKE!

3. If you are on strike, DON'T COOK! If a way into a man's heart is through his stomach, believe me.....it's even a quicker way into his pocketbook.

4. Insist that he does the dishes. EVERY MEAL, EVERY DAY! It's amazing how much neater they become if you impose duties.

I admit I have read one Nora Roberts book while I flew back from WDW last time. I wanted a book to read on the flight home and that what was there in the gift shop. It was pretty good

Donna, I watched Scott Hamilton skate as well and I agree he is a GREAT skater!!!

LOL Gina!! Too funny Luis does a lot of the cleaning around here I admit!

Hi guys. I am fixing a new Weight Watchers recipe. It uses spaghetti squash. I have never worked with this kind of squash before. It is looking good so far. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I am bound and determined to hit my 20 pound loss this week.
