Truthfully I am not sure yet. I wanted to talk to a couple of Chicago buds to see what they are up to and see if it would be a good weekend to visit. I would really like to see some of the city again and if it means that I have to leave a little earlier to drive out there, I would. But I need to figure this out and see if I want to go really and see if Luis wants to go too. I am between two hotels and I need to find out about internet access for each. I will send them off to my Chicago buddies to see which they would pick (locaiton wise) and then book it. Then I can actually decide if I am going to go or not. I think I need to get away though

A final (maybe!) AI observation for the evening. My kids & I have been goofing on Nasheka since last week's shows. Can the girl form an actual smile??? She reminded me of Laurie Partridge....because Susan Dey couldn't smile comfortably in that role either!

Is Nasheka the one that they picked from last week who moved on this week? If so we thought she looked like a hooker last week (no joke) with her 80s poof hair, huge hoops & the "shirt" she had on. In short she did not impress us much at all.

Gail .... I don't remember the Nutmeg Inns........when I was younger we travelled I-95 alot more than the parkway so that's probably why they're not ringing a bell ...... but if you remember the toll booths on the parkway, one of them was saved and put in a park in my hometown !!

Congrats Carol on the weight loss ... and all of you who have already done this ..... I try to eat right and exercise but pretty much maintain where I'm at .... I think I need to rearrange portions and food groups and that kind of stuff, but just have not yet been motivated enough to get organized

Morning all! My throat is still a little bit sore, but it hasn't gotten any worse since yesterday, so hopefully it will go away soon.

Laura - I am also glad that Cris won. He is such a sweetie.

Stephanie - you are the second person this week who has asked me what TWP is. It stands for Township. We have a lot of those in this area, I guess it's not as common in other places. This Saturday at 1:30 is when the fun begins, so please stop by!

Rats - just found out school has changed from a 2 hour delay to a cancellation, and I have to go to work today. Now where am I going to dump my two for the day? Better start making some phone calls!

spb999-My best friend & her DH both grew up in CT. She lived along the shore in Old Saybrook..........is that anywhere near you? He was from a town called New somethingorother??LOL! can't remeber it right now but his family is in Southington?
My DS's best friend will be relocating to CT in the summer for a new job his Dad got & DS is palnnign on visiting him for a few weeks.
