Deb,,I know you don't want to hear this,,and I'm sure you've heard it before,,BUT if I could do it,, so can you. When I quit smoking i was at 2-3 packs a day had smoked for round 15 year or so,,and i gotta tell you , I LOVED TO SMOKE !! Yea,, it was a filthy habbit, it stunk, and it was killing me,,But I loved to smoke. Did I mention it was Killing me ? Well thats why I quit. Anyways,, you can do it girl,,we believe in you. Oh,,and its okay to kill someone,,I did. Hey, so did OJ ! (but he didn't smoke)


One of the most disgusting things i saw was when Denise would clean the windows inside our car, she used white paper towels and then showed me the YELLOW she cleaned off the windows,,I was put'n that stuff in my lungs !

Deb!!! You can do it!!! I know you can!!! The first two weeks are the hardest. Once you get through that, you can do it for ever!!! I was smoking a pack to a pack and a half a day for about 15 years. I had gall bladder surgery and was so sick I didn't want to smoke. After about a week, I tried one and it was just nasty! So, I figured, I'll see how long I can go without one. In July, I celebrated 9 years of being smoke-free!!! Best thing I ever did. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!! We're all here for you if you need some encouragement. And I'm sure Donnie will volunteer if you really need to choke someone!!

Thanks everyone, for the encouragement. What made me decide to give it up was not being able to shake this darned cough left over from the flu. After 3 days of not smoking, it's still hanging in there - but it's getting less & less each day. My DH doesn't smoke (and didn't know that I did) so... by not smoking it'll make my life a lot easier in many ways. Again.....thanks everyone!! I will try my best not to disappoint any of you!!

Well, so much for my Disney Pixie Dust this weekend! I get here and they have canceled my reservation, told me that there are no sites available because they have cut the electricity to one of the loops and they are sending people to cabins and oh by the way, there are no more cabins...so you can stay at Coronado or the overflow parking lot...

And while you are in the overflow parking lot, you have to move again because you can't stay there either...so we are fighting with the security guard who is trying to get us to move...after we just got all the jacks down and such....AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am going to hurt someone very soon....we have summoned the manager that told us to park here...

and so the fight begins....

(update) I am having my damned pizza in the overflow parking lot with my damned generator on with my damned husband dammit!

Jen- After we had an early dinner with friends, we took our bikes to FtW hoping to run into you. If we'd known you were in the overflow lot, we would have harassed you. Dagnabit!! I knew I should have called!!! What time did you get there so I won't feel too bad about missing you? We left around 9Pm.

We didn't get to see Jim either, although we think he's in the first site to the left as you enter 1800 - right on the corner. It was dark, there was no truck, and we couldn't read the graphics to see if it said "Kiwi".
