Revival of the angry thread!

I peddled my azz all over FtW last nite and tonite (and those of you who've seen me, know that is no small task) and was FtWGuy at his site either time??? Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!! He has the nerve to be enjoying his vacation instead of meeting ME!!! There were some Crocs outside the door to the Kiwi and I thought about putting stuff in there, but I couldn't get any dog on the loop to cooperate with me. Plus, my DH (who has no sense of humor) wouldn't let me.

I went past Jen & Chris' site, but they were gone, too. That's okay though, cause I called them earlier in the day & they said they were taking CJ into a park.....AND.... I've been to 3 GG's with them & met up with Jen one Friday afternoon after she finished a conference at the Gaylord Palm. They will also be at the Fort Halloween weekend. Jen & Chris love me. FtWGuy obviously doesn't!!

Seriously though, I am going to give Jim a call this week & see what would be a good time to connect with him. I MUST meet Mickey the Wonder-Beagle!!

And I just spent an hour on the phone with Deb...she feels the love....

ok, now that Deb knows the update, here it is for y'all...

I can rub this in Pete's nose because he doesn't have this...I now have the business card of the manager the at the fort. She gives this to Auburn fans.

Apparently there was a computer glitch of some kind with my reservation, however, no one can explain how or why it happened. I made my reservation on January 3rd online and 5 minutes after I made it, it was canceled. No one can explain to me if a deposit was ever taken so I have to search through my accounts (like I can freakin remember which one I took it out of...they all are empty most of the time)to see which one i picked that had pennies and find if there was a withdraw from WDW. If there was not, I just got to stay at the Fort for free for the weekend. If not, Jackie and I are going to have another chat, however a civil one. She was nice enough to help out and give us many fast passes to ease my temper. She was even nice enough to bring water to Chris. (after I told him to check the water in the batts Sat night in the golf cart and learn from Pete's mistakes, but nooooooooooo!) She has vowed to make Halloween a nicer experience for all. Friday night I had to restrain myself, especially when the security guard came to the coach and told us we had to leave. Chris told her that she needed to call the manager because that is where we were told to stay and there was this ten minute conversation on the walkie talkie and needless to say, we stayed in the overflow parking lot with the generator on. I never did catch up with FWGuy. I was looking forward to hearing his side of the Mike story, but oh well. I certainly hope that next week is a better one. I told Ami this weekend that I think my life lately reminds me of being a part of this show...

Jen- Something dawned on me after we hung up last night. I have NEVER been able to go back into a ressie I've made on line to cancel or modify it. I always had to call CRO. Just Saturday, I tried to modify my Halloween ressie to add Wednesday nite to it and I couldn't find any link to do anything but view the ressie. So I called CRO & they were able to add Weds. for me. But, like I said, I've NEVER EVER been able to do anything with an on-line ressie other than book it. Maybe I'm missing something. Nope - just went back to confirm my Dec ressie & there is no place to link to change or modify it.

I stand by my original assessment, Jen. Someone in CRO pulled up your ressie by accident, didn't verify the information, and cancelled it - intending to cancel someone elses ressie.

Well, something is fishy still, because I found the bank statement after we hung up and saw on the 7th (4 days after the online reservation and supposed cancelation) where they took out the deposit, so reservations has some 'spainin to do... I am calling her back today.

Snow already....the seasons sure change alot quicker up north!! I had to wear socks with my crocks today...till about noon...then it was too hot for'em!!

Now THAT sounds wonderful. ..the warmth..not your socks with the crocks. THAT sounds weird. Although I think wearing plastic shoes is weird with or without socks..but people certainly do seem to like them.

I could use a dose of warm weather. Got real chilly here too. I tried to sit out in the sun today..and it was freezing. Too cold..too soon. We've been spoiled it was near 75 degrees earlier last week, and I'm still hangin' in there with my summer clothes. NOT an option today. Sweat shirt weather. (I get so dressed up! ). Had to put on sneakers, and put the sandals away.
My siatica is acting up too. I think it's the cold. I know..I sound OLD ...but warm weather sure does sound good about now.

About the crocs... they have to be the most comfortable things I've ever worn! I even found work shoes made by crocs & wear them when I work at THD. They weren't cheap, and only available by internet order - at least I couldn't find a store locally that sold them. If you stand on your feet on concrete to work, you definitely want to look into the croc work shoes. You won't make any fashion statement because they are as ugly as sin; but if your feet are happy, you're happy!

Oh yeah....I'm mad as H*LL because I never got to hook up with FtWGuy. I went twice & he was gone both times!!

Well, I wrote my nasty letter to Guest Communications. WDW4us2 (Lisa) told me it was a grammatical and syntactical nightmare and that I should have let her see it first, but I sent it anyway. (My strength is in geekiness, math and science, not grammar and syntax!) Anyway, hope to hear from them soon. Donnie, Steve, Renee, Chris(ta), and Pete, I did mention the grand gatherings in my several page rant, so hopefully we can see how it goes.

I am also angry that our beloved team blew another game. I wore my Auburn jersey to school today anyway. I am not a fair weather fan, no matter how much they stink up the field. However, it is getting very hard to watch!

I just can't get comfortable in CROCS. What I've found to be the best shoes for me are TEVA Dozers. I bought a pair just over 2 years ago and wore them to death!! Just ordered another pair last week and they came in Wednesday and they are just as comfy as my old broken in ones!!!

I just called the front desk. I wanted to inquire about a few sites I'd like to have when we check in Wednesday. The "bimbo" who answered the call (1) kept repeating that sites aren't assigned until you check in and (2) refused to connect me to someone who is actually at the front desk.

I've never been refused to be connected to the actual front desk before!

I wished to ask for one of the pull thru sites & to inquire if they will be vacant when I check in. If so, I would go over early Wednesday, check in & make my request for one of the sites. I've never had such a rude person on the phone before. She actually said (sarcastically) "Have a magical day." AS SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! I never even raised my voice or anything - I just kept asking if she could connect me thru to someone at the front desk! The Fort manager on duty is gonna hear about this one, too! Disney is really scraping the bottom of the barrel in who they choose for CM's these days.
