Reunion

For those that know the struggle I have had with pulling the trigger to stay offsite...I had finally started leaning toward Reunion. It was down to three properties.

I was using the search function and saw a post about someone not liking the resort . I believe they ran into construction issues and thought the grounds needed some maintenance.

So I need help with people who are familiar with this resort..It looks beautiful? Did anyone notice issues?

I have a place on my list in Center Ridge Court . This seems to be very close to the hotel and the pool. I was told that this is the place to be because I can walk to everything and it's centrally located. But they all seem to tell me that..haha.

The other is in Seven Eagles. The owner told me it was across the street from Center Ridge and close to the Seven Eagles pool "the cove"?

Then I have another in the Villas north. This one happens to be our favorite. The Owner is out of the us I believe but has been very responsive. I just don't understand the website they use through mbc rentals page. They do something with their profits and Kiva(which I do know what that is).


All three are nice . Are any of these close to contruction or have a better location? My kids will probably use a pool at some point if they can. It will be Thanksgiving week. But since we have a pool, they don't get as excited about pools...but I don't want to say they wont use .

I think the third one is the most kid friendly just because of the bedroom. All three have good reviews on Vrbo.

If you are far from the pools(because reunion is spread out..was told the villas north property is about a mile from the hotel )...can you drive and just park near a pool?

I can't answer about the specific locations within the resort that you mentioned. I do know that I was going to rent a unit there last year and the owner told me that you can drive and park near any pool you want except the main one unless you have passes.

My husband used to work at Reunion. It is beautiful there! We were just there driving around over the weekend. The home construction is not near seven eagles or center court ridge. Seven eagles is by the main pool area and has a snack bar, it is the closest to the main "hotel" buiding. You will have to drive to the water park , but it's about 1 minute away. Have fun, you will love it there!

I remember that post, the OP was complaining about the construction noise over at the part of Reunion that is opposite to I4, the area is not fully developed and there is a lot of construction going on. If the unit you are staying in it's a mile from the hotel, it might be on that side. You need to contact the owner ask him for the name of the development where their house is located.

For the moment, I would avoid:
- Masters Landing
- Legends Corner
- Fairway Ridge South
- Fairway Ridge North
- The Estates
- Heritage Preserve

Reunion is gorgeous, the grounds are perfectly mantained, the pools are amazing and you are only about 15 minutes away from Disney.

Of the three condos I am considering. I know that two would not be that far away. They were Center court ridge and Seven Eagles.

But the other one was in Villas North on Sunset View Circle. Do you think that is construction area?

For the people that have been...do You think it's ok to not be right near the hotel? Or is it more inconvenient. I was told I could drive to the pools if need be...?

Villas North is on the hotel side, not on the other side of I4

You should be fine driving to the hotel or any of the pools
