My kids are off to school. I'm going to miss them like crazy, but I did enjoy the 5 minutes I had to myself before the baby got dropped off this morning!

DS taking a bath while Daddy relaxes in the living room with a beer and DIS. DS calls out to ask if his bath can be done yet. I call back and ask if he cleaned with soap. "Yes"

I'm WAY too busy to get out of the chair and walk down the hall to check on his cleanliness, so I call back and ask "Why didn't you use soap?" "Because it's over by the sink." Busted! Now he's stuck until he figures out how to get the soap off the sink and get clean. At least I can still out-think the 6 year-old.

LOL you sound like me...DS is in the family room (supposedly watching the olympics and getting undressed for his bath...)....i notice that it is suddenly quiet...no bath tonight...sacked out, fully clothed on the couch

I was hoping that the first full day of school would wear him out more than it did. He's way too full of life to be in sleep mode. I keep waiting for that "Thunk" to announce that he just ran out of gas and keeled over!

btw: good thing for him that yours passed out before he got undressed! Otherwise you would have had blackmail material for the rest of his life.

Just got back from the GNO with Amanda! We bar hopped and had to take exciting pictures for Johnny. Amanda was getting friendly with a waiter! You thought the nekkid squirrel on her birthday was crazy....You all should the video from tonight! The Dis is way too tame for it, though! We are the "dancing queens" from Western VA, now.
