Restaurants with a baby?

Parades are just for kids now? DBF and I travel with no children and often book ADRs with views of the parades. That doesn't mean we want kids screaming in our ears.

I'm not saying kids shouldn't be allowed, but this logic doesn't make a lot of sense.

No, I love parades. But have never found one an "adult" centred activity. They are for the children in us.

What I meant was if you want a quiet, romantic meal then you might pick a place where a Disney parade doesn't pass 10ft outside the window.

And can I ask where at WDW you can eat and a parade goes by? I know CS places or the water pageant but there's nowhere like Walt's there (which is a shame)

This I'm afraid is how I see it sometimes. I have kids, but Disney isn't just for children and I have no qualms in leaving them behind when I go to DLP, they visit often enough with me!

Again, great but we'll be in DLRP once per year MAX so not taking DD will not be an option for the next 18 years.

I'm looking leaving mine behind for the second time in a year - though it helps with your man working in Paris and living so close ;)

I wouldn't ever go with out DD. I would feel terrible spending money on a holiday and not including her. But I guess I went before I had her and experienced it as an adult. Have to say it is a lot more fun with her. I would be at a loss with out her now.

I just couldn't go that frequently, WDW I'd get an AP if I could get there that easy but not DLRP. Even our last trip after a 3 year break seemed a bit soon.

I know it'll only be a 2 year break between trips but WDW is just too far while she's so little and DD needs some Disney in her life.

Oh agreed - youngest was 3 when I last flew her out and she doesn't remember. DLP is like a local haunt and much cheaper than flying 6 out to WDW for us :)

We usually do Tony's in MK, also the water pageant stops in front of Narcoossees. Maybe people will disagree but I think Narcoossees is definitely not family oriented. I don't recall seeing any children there last time we went, and I think they would be bored out of their minds.

Funny my kids love Narcosses but I wouldn't take them to Walts

There were kids in Jiko and CG when we've been. Didn't bother me at all.

I took my daughter to yachts steakhouse when she was 5 and 8 just the two of us. it was amazing, they made such a fuss over us.

Walt's has been on her favourites since she was 3. i have never felt she shouldn't be there. there has always been lovely families there at the same time too.

hi, we ate at walts last year for lunch and girls were 5 & 2.

dd2 was asleep in her buggy at the time and there was no problem in bringing her buggy in whilst she was sleeping. we really enjoyed it and we were in a room with other families with small children similar ages. she did get a bit upset when she woke up but she was fine to sit on my knee to eat her lunch :)
