Restaurants--sit down or counter with indoor seating

I just checked the weather report and Sunday is up to 97 degrees now so I am wondering about places to get something to eat or drink at DL and DCA that is indoors and has a/c. Also, is there any indoor seating at Alfresco Tasting Terrace or WCT?

So that one's a no.

I can tell you that Pizza Port is not air conditioned. Village Haus is not, but it does stay cool in there.

The only other CS places I can think of with indoor seating are Flo's and limited seating at Taste Pilot's, and I don't recall if there's AC. I guess Plaza Inn would also be indoors. Many places have covered seating that doesn't feel as hot as some of the indoor non-AC places. French Market and the seating area next to Award Weiners aren't awful.

As far as TS that I recall, Cafe Orleans is not, Carnation is not, WCT is not, Blue Bayou is.

Carthay Circle has a nice lounge downstairs that serves food/drink, or you can go to the full restaurant upstairs. Our day at DCA was so tiring and all we wanted was a nice sit down meal, booth, and a/c - carthay was perfect!

We only ate at blu bayou in DL so I don't know about the others, but the temp was great! Make sure you get reservations, though! They were turning people away who didn't have them when we went!

I believe Wine Country Trattoria has indoor seating, but we have always eaten outside there. The wine bar and upstairs bar there just have outdoor seating.

DH has never complained of feeling hot at any of the restaurants with inside seating; I honestly would have assumed they were all air-conditioned. So even the places that don't have A/C should be comfortable. [I am always cold so I can't weigh in, though if you want to feel cold, stand where you view your photo at Splash Mountain exit, or ride Haunted Mansion! ]

Flo's was a great place to escape the heat when we were in the parks during the heat wave in early June. The AC was awesome in there! Carthay Circle was also an awesome place to escape. I THINK that Carnation Cafe was comfortable (inside)...I don't remember being crazy hot in there anyways...

I never remember being hot inside a TS either. The coldest TS for us is always Blue Bayou.

WCT has a very limited number of indoor tables (I want to say about 12 to 15 or so). I ate inside once because it was raining, so they could not use the outside patio area where most of the tables are located.

In terms of the other venues, a lot of places have mixed indoor/outdoor seating. A fair number have outdoor seating only (e.g., French Market, Jolly Holiday, Big Thunder BBQ, etc.). These are the venues that I can think of that have at least some indoor seating:

• Flo's (CS) has a fair amount of indoor seating
• Taste Pilots Grill (CS) has some tables indoors
• Starbucks (Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Pig Cafe) has indoor seating
• Carthay Circle Lounge (CS, downstairs of the restaurant) does not take reservation and has some food items; it's entirely indoor
• Carthay Circle Restaurant (TS) is entirely indoor seating
• Ariel's Grotto (TS) has indoor seating
• Carnation Cafe (TS) has some indoor seating
• Riverbelle Terrace (CS) has some indoor seating
• Blue Bayou (TS) is entirely indoor seating
• Cafe Orleans (TS) has a few indoor tables, but most are outside
• Golden Horseshoe (CS) has indoor seating
• Pinocchio's Village Haus (CS) has some indoor seating
• Cosmic Ray's (CS) has some indoor seating
