Restaurants on your MUST visit list?

'Ohana has been one of our favorites for years, we love the food and atmosphere. This last trip we tried California Grill for the first time and it has become our number one place to eat!! And Boma is the best breakfast on property!

Unfortunately, DBF's must visit and my must visit list are not the same! (But I am also new enough to Disney that I am still trying out a new places)

His must visits are:
CG--He just thinks it's "the Best" and being able to take someone to "the best" is very important. He does like the filet and the fireworks
and
Le Cellier--I think it's just nostalgia from when it used to be great and his son loves it.

Mine would be
Jiko--Romance, good food, and great location. I was awed the first time I walked into AKL and I just loved the feel of Jiko.
and
Flying Fish-Red Snapper and BEST service I have ever had at WDW. I have TIW, where 18% gratuity is included, and I added an additional 10% because my waiter was that good.

Luckily, he loved Jiko when I dragged him there last year, and I do really like California Grill...I am trying to figure out how to avoid going to Le Cellier in October (It's good, but I rather try a dozen other restaurants!)

Thank you everyone for your opinions!

Based on the responses so far the most popular restaurants are listed along with the number of people that selected them!

Crystal Palace - 8 (Some specified certain meals but others didn't so they all went in together)
Ohana - 6
LeCellier - 5
California Grill - 4
Wispering Canyon Café - 3
Biergarten - 3
Yachtsman Steakhouse - 3
Liberty Tree Tavern - 3
Jiko - 3
The Plaza - 2
Boma - 2
Prime Time Café - 2
Teppan Edo - 2
Flying Fish - 2

I appreciate the time to answer my post! I am still trying to select where to go and am having hte most trouble with bfast and lunch, most of my dinners are scheduled.

I guess I am the only one, but I go to Chef Mickey's every time.
We LIKE the breakfast, but don't really like the dinner.
It's more nostalgia/tradition than anything, but I still insist on it.:lovestruc

This trip we're cutting way down on TS and have agreed that the restaurants we HAVE to go to are

Boma dinner - too many reasons to list, a trip to Disney without Boma is simply not conceivable

Fulton's - best seafood my mom ever had, and since I'm no longer allergic to shellfish, bring on the claws!!!

Crystal Palace breakfast - great food, fun & cute characters and convenient location

Kona lunch - fresh, original dishes and heavenly desserts plus it's at the Poly!

Le Cellier - food was amazing as was the pretzel bread, service was great as well.

Boma - I've never been to a buffet like Boma. It was just so good! We got the first ADR seating of the day for dinner and all the chefs were very accomodating, answered questions, etc. The service was great and the food was very, very good. Not to mention...zebra domes!

My favorites are:

1. Todd English's Bluezoo - love the ecclectic atmosphere, and the seafood is Mmm, Mmm great!

2. O'Hana's/Chef Mickey's - love these two (2) for breakfast. I just love character breakfasts.:lovestruc

3. Boma - love the breakfast.:woohoo:

4. Wetzel's Pretzels - I know it's a QS, but I love those cheese dogs.:dance3:

I'm one to do a lot of breakfast meals. It is the most important meal of the day. I also like 1900 Park Fare. It is another character meal. Did I mention I like those? I do the dinner buffet. It's my favorite birthday dinner, especially so I can get my cake from the GF bakery.:cheer2:

My choices are:
Le Cellier - The filet is good, and the creamed cheese mashed potatoes are amazing!

Yachtsman - Great service, and food is good too.

O'Hana - The Bananas Foster bread pudding is reason enough to go.

Sci-Fi - Lunch only. They have a great burger, but they don't serve it at dinner.

Biergarten - The entertainment is fun, and the food is pretty good too.

Every trip we cddo Ohawnas the first night!

CP is another we do always our last night

then we try everything in between!

Narcoosees
LeCellier
Boma
Crystal Palace
Chefs De France

We have been changing them up a bit so this time we are skipping Boma for Jiko and Crystal Palace to try Chef Mickeys and Chefs to do Ohana. So we are giving a few others on that list a try.

After we returned home from this last trip (last week in February) we put together a list of restaurants for our next trip, same week next year. The only restaurant we have on their that we've done before (because we want to try other things too) is Spoodles. Unfortunately it's closing and being turned into something else which is a huge disapointment for DH and I, we LOVED it!
So I guess next time we're trying all new restaurants when we go!

BUT if I had to put together a list of restaurants I would love to go to again if we had enough time and didn't have a goal of trying all new things:
Sci-Fi for lunch
Kona (specifically for the tuna oscar)
Boma (me, my mom and DH wouldn't go back)

My one and only MUST do EVERY time I go to WDW is a CS. Sunshine Seasons! My very favorite place!

Top 5:
~The Plaza on arrival night. We want to sit down and eat, but nothing heavy, and the sandwiches are great
~Garden Grill even though the food isn't the best, the character interaction is amazing. I can't go on a trip and not go there.
~Crystal Palace DFi loves the puffed french toast, and I love Piglet, and it's the only way to see him these days.
~Casey's Corner I can't go without the corndog nuggets.
~Popcorn cart 33 (or any other cart) I have to have at least 1 bucket of popcorn while I'm there, normally though I end up with 2. filled with boxes before I go home for a nice treat after my trip.
~Sci-Fi: I love the BLT Soup and the Beef & Bleu Salad. I just wish it wasn't so dark.

Liberty Tree Tavern!! I love the Pilgrims Feast! It's delicious!

Its a tradition for our family to eat lunch there on our first morning in the parks. And our first morning is always at MK. :lovestruc
