Okay I have read the thread about restaurants you did not like but how about the opposite. Which ones are on your MUST visit list. Are there any you dream about returning too?

Please list why the restaurant is a favorite.

Thanks!

We have so many on our MUST lists, that we never get to try anything new!
California Grill-the best atmosphere, amazing filet and a wine that my hubby ADORES! Service is top notch!
Ohana-fun atmosphere, great food. Only negative is that we always feel rushed because the food comes so quickly.
Whispering Canyon Cafe-again, fun atmosphere, fantastic food for a BBQ meal. Love the stick pony rides and the "antics."
Biergarten-the tomato salad is worth the trip. Love the band. Hubby's family is German so it's a nostalgic trip.

There are lots of restaurants that we enjoy but at the moment there are only two that we just have to visit each trip.
They are the California Grill and the Yachtsmans Steakhouse. Our meals at these have always been excellent with our most recent meals in December being outstanding.:lovestruc

My top 4 WDW restaurants are: OHana's, I love the food (and there's alot of it) and it's a fun restaurant, although it can get loud and crazy at times.

Liberty Tree Tavern at MK, good food and a cozy atmosphere.

Les Chef's De France in Epcot, very elegant and I'm big on a view so I love having a table in the front by the window to look at everyone going by.

Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studio's, there's always alot of things that look good on the menu but I always end up with the Cobb salad ( I can never seem to pass it up).

Our upcoming trip will probably change this list but for now here are my top choices based on the restaurants I've dined at:

1. Crystal Palace--the atmosphere with the characters plus the delicious food is to die for
2. The Plaza Restaurant--the HUGE spinach salad with strawberries and their sweet sweet desserts is enough to make me come back for more
3. Sunshine Seasons--yes, it's a counter service choice but if you need something quick while in Epcot that offers a variety of healthy choices prepared fresh throughout the day, this the place to go and keep going back to!
4. Earl of Sandwich--another place to drop by for a quick meal. Don't let the "quick" fool you though. This place offers absolutely AMAZING sandwiches. I've tried two kinds and both just melted in your mouth. The smoothies and yogurt parfaits are worth a try as well

For our upcoming trip we'll be trying the more popular eateries: Chef Mickey's, Tusker House Breakfast, CRT, 1900 Park Fare Dinner, Le Cellier--all for the first time. I'm sure these will change that list!

Bon Appetit!

1. Crystal Palace for breakfast with my favorite characters and the puffed french toast and the potato casserole

2. The Plaza Restaurant for the great sandwiches and the even better desserts

3. Yak & Yeti for the sweet and sour pork

4. Fulton's -- for anything -- everything we have ever had there is good

5. Biergarten -- for the variety of food and the great entertainment

6. LeCellier -- cheese soup, pretzel bread, filet and cream cheese mashed. And last, but not least, the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake

These are not in any specific order...but the ones we always want to go back to

Beaches & Cream: Best burgers ever & I am typically not a burger fan. Yummy ice cream options. Really cute theming!

Boma dinner: So relaxing & situated in a really fun resort. Best food on property IMHO & best desserts too!

Crystal Palace breakfast (early ADR): Getting to hang out in MK before the park opens is really special, really pretty restaurant, best breakfast choices on property IMHO, cute character interaction

50's Prime Time: Fun theming & detailed decor (some tables have black & white tv's attached that play clips of 50's sitcoms), server experience is so much fun!! (it's like eating at Leave It To Beaver's house!), really yummy comfort food.

Captain Cooks: This is a counter service place at the Polynesian. I think they have amazing sandwiches & they also serve Dole Whips! Really fun place to order take out & have a picnic on the Poly beach!

Yakitori House for Udon soup, Ft. Wilderness for the dinner buffet, and Casey's for corndog nuggets are must-do's. Everything else is up for grabs.

'Ohanas- so much food & it's all so delicious
Teppan Edo- cool to see the chef cook in front of you, AWESOME shrimp & noodles

1. Le Cellier Cheese soup mmmmmmm good
2. Ohana
3. Crystal Palace
4. The Wave
5. Flying Fish

We go to Le Cellier and Yachtsman Steakhouse on every trip.

Le Cellier- We have never been dissapointed with any of the food. I love the atmosphere. Pretzel bread is yummy!

Yachtsman Steakhouse- Amazing steaks and delicious desserts! This is our favorite dinner. They have never rushed us through our meal here.

Crystal Palace- This is more of a Disney tradition. We've never been to Disney without going to Crystal Palace for breakfast. Mostly because of the Pooh characters because we love Pooh and Friends. I love being in the park before MK opens to the public! You can get some very nice castle pictures.

We have a couple must do's, but we've been trying not to go to some of them each trip so that we can at least try something new!

50's Prime Tiime Cafe (mostly for the entertainment)
Le Cellier
Liberty Tree Tavern
Whispering Canyon Cafe (mostly for the entertainment)

And of course we always have to do a character breakfast every trip. We haven't experienced a bad one yet...so we always do a different one each trip.

We always go to CP. It's definitely our favorite buffet with our favorite characters, and I love the atmosphere. I love LTT, especially for their lunch menu. When we can afford it and get the ressie, CRT is one of our favorites too. We almost always eat at Pecos Bill's and the Columbia Harbour House. All of the adults in our party love the Biergarten, but not the kids so we won't be going this time. We are going back to 1900 Park Fare for their character breakfast. Last time the Mad Hatter was a riot, and we loved their Mickey waffles and strawberry soup.

Ohana for breakfast.

Crystal Palace for dinner.

Wolfgang Puck Express and Cosmic Rays for counter service.

Far as table service restaurants go, for us its all about the characters. :thumbsup2

Our top 5:

Jiko
Jiko
Jiko
Jiko
and
Jiko

Okay - so we only have one "must do" and that's Jiko. We also try to book an early breakfast on a non-EMH morning at the Crystal Palace once per trip - as much for the experience as for the food. Jiko is all about the food. The experience is nice (unless their are rude parents with children who don't belong in restaurants) but the food it top notch

Kona - Their wings and tuna were amazing! And there were 5 other things on the menu that I'd still like to try.

There are only a handful of places we have not tried and most of our MUSTS change from time to time. V&A is always on the list; it's in a league all its own. Other current favs are Flying Fish and bluezoo.

DH and I fell in love with Yachtsman Steakhouse on our last trip. The huge porterhouse steaks and the pull apart onion bread are delicious. It's now a "must do" for us. We also love Whispering Canyon for the all you can eat skillet. For counter service we never miss Cooke's of Dublin at DTD. I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze it into our June trip this year.

We also love CP for breakfast. I love Pooh and friends.

Since this is a MUST visit list (and not necessarily a favorite list) I have to add:

1. Play 'N Dine at Hollywood & Vine (breakfast). This is my DS4's only request and have done it our last 3 trips. The smile on his face when dancing with Jo Jo and Goliath is worth the price of admission alone.

2. Tutto Italia - In my mind its still Alfredo's. The food is consistant, it has the best kids menu at WDW, and is one of the greatest values of a 1TS credit on the DDP.

3. ESPN Club - I have never gone to WDW and not visited here at least one time since its been open. Sports on TV :happytv: and beer :drinking1. Add WDW to that and I feel like Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams..."Is this Heaven?"

We have 2 Must Do's (lots of like to enjoy)
Jiko - A beautiful restaurant with an adult atmosphere, wonderful service and delicious food.
Teppan Edo - Another beautiful restaurant with great food.
