Restaurants at Downtown Disney????

Do you need to purchase admission if you want to eat at any of the restaurants in the Downtown Disney/Marketplace/Pleasure Island area or does admission only need to be purchased when entering the clubs?

You do not need admission for downtown disney or the market place. They are open (no gates to enter). Pleasure Island does have a gate that you have to have a ticket to enter but I am not sure how that works for dinner. I don't think there are any restaurants in Pleasure Island though so I don't think it will be an issue.

As of August 2004, Pleasure Island has had an "open gate" policy. You only have to buy an admission ticket to get into the clubs. There is no admission to eat at any of the restaurants or shops at PI, West End or Marketplace. There is also free parking.
