I agree. The results are extremely interesting. For example, the Brown Derby is at the top but I think that I have seen a lot of people complaining about it. As you said, it is all personnal taste.

One of my favorites, Jiko, is just in the middle of the pact.

So, this thread is very interesting and fun to watch!

It also has to do with who's voting, and how many times they are voting. I used to vote almost every day, though I haven't been able to keep up with it the last few days, and I believe this is my first time voting since 9/7 (four days ago.) However, I vote more then a lot of the other voters on this thread as far as I can tell, and I always vote against Jiko, Marrakesh, and 1900 Park Fare. So every time I vote, (at least once every few days,) those all get a hit, and it looks like Marrakesh is going to be the next one eliminated. But I love Brown Derby, and think it's extremely underrated, so vote for it almost every time I vote, and Boma too, and they're both at the top of the list by more then ten votes.

I agree. I'm another frequent voter who has a strong opinion about several restaurants. I was happy to help eliminate all 3 restaurants that have bit the dust - Planet Hollywood, Tony's, and Rainforest - and expect to see more of my least favorites go away. Likewise, Artist Point and Crystal Palace are up there because my family had outstanding meals and service at both this summer. Based on the number of votes AP has, I'd guess I've voted 20 times out of the 170+ votes. I would vote for Marrakesh, but my only experience was 11 years ago and didn't feel qualified to render an opinion. A bunch of the restaurants in the middle I haven't eaten at, so I won't vote for or against until I run out of favorites or dislikes.

This is not and was never intended to be a scientific poll - it's a chance for a bunch of us to vote restaurants off the World if we had the chance. I'm enjoying this because we're not getting impassioned pleas and complaints here - it's all strictly business ... and a little wicked fun to see a restaurant get booted.
