I am just getting started on planning our next trip. :goodvibes We loved many of the restaurants we went to last time, but I'm hoping to try some new ones. I've read reviews, looked over menus, and searched the food porn for pics :thumbsup2 and cannot wait to go back! We are a family of 3, DS will be 11. DS and DH aren't the most adventurous eaters either. Meat and potatoes kind of people. However, I am hoping they will try a few new things! :) Most likely we'll be going with another family of 3.

Last time we went to
Liberty Tree Tavern
O'hana's for breakfast and dinner
50's Prime Time
Whispering Canyon
Hollywood and Vine

This time I am looking at
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Kona
Boma
and I'm not sure what else. My son LOVED Hollywood and Vine because of the chicken nuggets :rotfl2: , and it was my least favorite. He also LOVES Stitch, so going to O'Hana's for breakfast was a huge deal for him. He had a great time at Whispering Canyon. I think my fav was O'hana's for dinner. DH was happy with all of them. I chose ones that I knew everyone could find stuff to eat, and it worked out well!

Now we just need to decide WHEN we're going. :woohoo:

Chef Mickey's is awesome--we go almost every trip. :thumbsup2 Haven't been to Boma but I've heard it's good. We are going to try it in February. Crystal Palace is Pooh & Tigger--probably not for DS 11. Good luck--I enjoy trying to figure out where I haven't been but want to go.

We love Crystal Palace for breakfast...nice to get to (and into) the park early. Also, I didn't see any epcot choices...do you tend to not go there? Because there are a lot of nice places to eat in there. Coral Reef, Garden Grill (was always one of our favorites but I think we grew a little tired of it)..and all the WS places.

I think Kona is a great choice but we didn't really like Boma....but, it is a buffet so I'm sure you'll find something you really like. Chef Mickeys is interesting and I would suggest getting an early ADR for whatever meal you eat there....it always seems a little less hectic at the beginning and a little crazy near the end.

Did you go to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner? We usually go for lunch...they have a nice selection and we loved the food.

We love Crystal Palace for breakfast, Boma for any meal is always fantastic.
Chef Mickey's food is disgusting. (Characters sure, but you can find those characters elsewhere).

Try the Wave at Contemporary, Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom, Spoodles (breakfast), and there are plenty of other places that actually serve decent food.

Epcot has a bunch of great places to eat. Teppen Edo's was excellent when we eat earlier this month, even with a 2 year old.

Sci-Fi has really good food and is a little "different" experience.

Big River Grille was probably our favorite food on this past trip.

We love Crystal Palace for breakfast (never done lunch or dinner). We are trying Boma for breakfast next year; we had thought of dinner but it has been getting some bad reviews lately and one of the people who I have found her reviews to be right on with every place she has suggested hated Boma this week for dinner (but loves breakfast). We like Chef Mickey's too...but definitely prefer breakfast over dinner. And I'm with you, don't like Hollywood & Vine--after two horrible experiences won't ever go back.

We enjoyed O'hana and Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our recent trip, also 1900 Park Fare was good for breakfast too. Le Cellier was awesome for lunch.
Good luck with your decisions.:wizard:

we enjoy boma - and afterwards walking around the beautiful hotel and sitting around the firepit after watching the animals around the hotel is a really entertaining evening!
biergarten is also fun as is teppen edo for the kids!:thumbsup2

have a great time!

Great choices!;)

Chef Mickeys--We do this every year for dinner and our kids just love it! If your looking for great character experience I would say Chef Mickeys is a great choice!

Boma--We just tried in July for dinner, for the first time and it was really good! Everybody found something that they liked, great food, and service

Kona-- This was our second time and we didnt really enjoy it. The first time was great, I dont know what it was this time but my kids dont want to return.

Crystal Palace-- I love this place and to me it is way better then Chef Mickeys. We have done both lunch and breakfast and much prefer lunch. Breakfast is super crowded, and we thought the food was better at lunch, and less crowded. It was such a nice break from the park!

GOOD LUCK!!!!
