I do enjoy the Brown Derby......is it great, not really but a nice choice in HS.

In December we had mushroom ravioli appetizers, grouper & grapefruit cake.
Josh is a waiter who still embodies "old Disney" & we have been lucky enough to have him as a server many times.

We tried for the first time Black Forest coffee which we made over the holiday. Black coffee, cherry brandy, Godiva & whipped cream.

BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
58 ozs Ketchup
7 ozs Rice Wine Vinegar
4 ozs Molasses
2 Tbsps Chili Powder
2 Tbsps Paprika
2 tsps Tumeric
2 tsps Ground Cumin
2 Tbsps Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
2 Tbsps Onion Powder
16 ozs Water
2 Tbsps Brown Sugar

Method
Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
BBQ RUB

Ingredients

2 LBS Sugar
8 ozs Season Salt
2 ozs Paprika
2 ozs Chili Powder
2 ozs Ground Black Pepper
1/2 ozs Garlic Salt
1/2 ozs Onion Powder
1 oz Cumin

No hurry. Maria. I think I may have it already for my collection.....that is the problem with having them in AZ....I forget the new ones I bought.
But, that means I can actually USE it

Flame Tree is our favorite place at AK. We eat there almost every trip. (RFC is the other)
I like the salad....DH likes the ribs. Like the tiered open seating (at least the time of year we go) with a good view of EE

OOh I love the BBQ sauce at Flame Tree, unfortunatley that is the only recipe I have from there! I love the theaming of the seating area here, especially the little pagoda on the edge of the lake overlooking EE.

Potato Salad

Recipe By isney's Plaza Restaurant
Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Salads

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 pounds red potatos -- small
2 cups spanish onions -- chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons Lawry's seasoned salt
5/8 cup white vinegar
5/8 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon pepper or coarsely ground peppercorns
1/2 cup water
7 1/2 tablespoons sugar

Cook potatoes and cut into quarters while warm.
Mix all other ingredients and add warm potatoes.
Refrigerate overnight

We like it. They have good sandwiches and salads and great ice cream desserts. DD had this unbelieveable brownies one

Do you all want to keep doing this? Or should we just let it go and wait for the DIS exchange meet things to get started?

Oops, forgot to add: The Plaza is one of our all time favorite restaurants and it is pretty much a tradition to eat there either our first or last visit to the MK each trip.

I was just about to post how much we enjoyed our early character breakfast at the Crystal Palace, then I realised that was in Disneyland!! I haven't eaten at the one at WDW!
