Restaurant Feedback

While LeCellier has its fans, I find it an over priced basement room with little to recommend it. There are much better options in the Epcot world showcase and just outside the international gate at Yacht Club and on the Boardwalk.
I agree, dont understand the hype, topolinos steak is so much better

I used to be a Le Cellier fan. Looked at the menu and the cost and compared in my head to our last family visit. It's sky high.

Also, they've changed stuff. There are still a few things I would go to try but none include the high priced steaks. I might enjoy the King salmon. I tried the soup this past fall at the food and wine festival and I was disappointed. It wasn't any good and my pretzel roll was dry and a bit stale. I have the original recipe and it's been changed. I may get to try it again next year, and I will, just in case it's just me.

Problem is I'm getting older and I just can't eat a lot of foods - they are no longer appealing, such as mountains of meat. I think I'm slowly turning into a veggie lover and a small portion person in general.

Brown Derby has delighted me and disappointed me over the years with their Cobb Salad. I've had it a lot. I think who prepares it makes a difference, so sometimes you win and sometimes you get chunks instead of finely chopped.

Be Our Guest: I've had lunch and dinner there a number of times, but not the 1 price thing at all.

Over all I preferred lunch. Dinner was just okay. The rooms were fun. The Beast was gracious. Probably never going back until it tries another iteration.

True story, my 6 year old cousin was crying so much because the beast doesnt let you meet him or Hug him, just comes to the table. She didnt understand lol. They need to change things.

Totally agree. I don't understand why Le Cellier is so highly rated.

I am fine with a low-quality steak, for a reasonable price - but Le Cellier is expensive. And I'm fine with an expensive steak, as long as the meat is high-quality - but Le Cellier is not high-quality steak.

Combine that with it being loud and cramped, and I have no interest in going back.
💯 💯 I really wanted to like it, but didnt. I again think the underrated restaurants are much better like the soup at biergarten over le cell

I'm still holding Le Cellier, but also just booked Topolios. I might cancel one or both. Follow up questions.

How much time would it take to leave the park to go to Topolinos and go back to the park? Not anything about how long the meal is. I don't really want to leave the park. So, if it takes much time, it's a no go for this time.

Any feedback for Space 220? The menu looks very basic. My husband would get the burger. Worth it at all?

How are the counter service meals/snacks in Epcot? Is it realistic to just wing it and not have reservations anywhere and get good food that isn't fried, all gluten, etc.? We could probably get a late night meal back at the Wilderness Lodge if we need to.
My steak at space 220 was burnt to the point of unacceptable, and its expensive. Will not return

We did Space 220 dining (not the lounge). This one is tough for me. We were sat in the center so it really took away from the theming, which is why we went.

Food and server took a long time which was upsetting to us because it took away from our park time and we had a LL for Guardians right after and we almost missed our time.

With that said. They made a special meal for my son due to our special diet. They gave him enough food for 3 days. Which normally is like awesome! But when not headed back to the room makes leftovers inconvenient. His meal was basically spaghetti.

I ate one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life there. So that’s why I am torn. I dream about this dish. It was just so amazing. It was the Beet Salad made vegan.
Same experience for us, food and server took forever, had LL for guardians and almost missed it. 10 year old boy cousin loved the themeing. We're also seated in the middle and didn't get to enjoy the themeing as much as the people sitting near it. Perhaps a one and done. Might be better for vegans 🤣

Topolinos has my wife’s favorite steak on property and she loves the olive oil they have with the allergy friendly bread. If thats in your plans I would do that over Le Cellier 100%
Ive eaten steak at many restaurants at WDW, I dream about Topolinos filet mignon. Better than Flyish fish. Flying fish char steak is good, better than Le Cellier, but Topolinos blows it out of the water. 😋 Def best steak on property. Their dessert is good too.

Timing it with the Luminous fireworks is special. I try to time it to have time to eat our food before the show and then dessert after.

If you drink, my cousin loved having a glass of wine on the terrace during luminous. It gave her those fancy Euro vibes.
