I used to be a Le Cellier fan. Looked at the menu and the cost and compared in my head to our last family visit. It's sky high.
Also, they've changed stuff. There are still a few things I would go to try but none include the high priced steaks. I might enjoy the King salmon. I tried the soup this past fall at the food and wine festival and I was disappointed. It wasn't any good and my pretzel roll was dry and a bit stale. I have the original recipe and it's been changed. I may get to try it again next year, and I will, just in case it's just me.
Problem is I'm getting older and I just can't eat a lot of foods - they are no longer appealing, such as mountains of meat. I think I'm slowly turning into a veggie lover and a small portion person in general.
Brown Derby has delighted me and disappointed me over the years with their Cobb Salad. I've had it a lot. I think who prepares it makes a difference, so sometimes you win and sometimes you get chunks instead of finely chopped.
Be Our Guest: I've had lunch and dinner there a number of times, but not the 1 price thing at all.
Over all I preferred lunch. Dinner was just okay. The rooms were fun. The Beast was gracious. Probably never going back until it tries another iteration.
