Restaurant dot com Gift Certificates question

I am a long time user of the site, for restaurant certificates thanks to fellow DISers, but I have never gotten any GC for the web site itself. Could some one clarify them for me? Are they to be used for buying more restaurant Certificates?

I was wondering this also since Restaurant.com gift cards are available with My Coke Points.

Yes. They are for buying certificates and you can't get any discount with them. So a $10 one buys a $10 certificate. Sort of sad that you lose the discounts.
