I phoned the dining reservations line at DLP yesterday, excited to book meals for all 6 days of our trip (i’m a mega-planner)
We wanted to eat at Walt’s on our first night because it is the only night the park is open past 7pm, being a Sunday, and we were planning to go to Walt’s between tree lighting and Fantillusion. However, I was told on the phone that Walt’s is only serving lunch that day.
I didn’t make any other reservations, as I needed to speak to the rest of the group about a new plan (my lovely itinery will be ruined by all this - disaster! lol). But does anybody know if there is anywhere online I can find out which restaurants are closed when?? The phone calls to Paris are expensive so I didn’t want to waste time going through the schedules of every restaurant. Am I going to have to phone back and do this or is there somewhere I can find more information?

I don't think there is anywhere on line which lists the opening and closing times of all the park resturants. But a rule of thumb is that the ones in the parks close one hour before park closing.

You could save some money by calling the Resturant Reservations Department on 08448 003 244 selecting option 4. This saves the cost of an international call to France.

Thanks Jonjo - I did think that if their was such a place I would have come across it by now!
I'll give them another call today and book some combination of the restaurants we want (hopefully). I'm booking faaar in advance but I like the feeling that everything is organised.
I've only got a mobile - do you reckon the 08448 number or the 00 33 number will be more horribly expensive? :rotfl:

Well I just phoned back - found out that for the entire week we are there walts is only open for lunch! This is 7th-12tg November. Anyone else planning dinner at walts may want to phone and check this.
I booked blue lagoon for our first night and walts for lunch on the second day. Decided to just book the rest when we get there as booking just those two took ten minutes and I'm concerned about my phone bill!

I'd call your mobile company and ask, but I would have thought a 08448 number would be cheaper and an international call.

When i rang to book for our trip as is open until 9pm on he Sunda I asked where was open in the park and was told Walts, Inventions, Plaza, Luck Nugget, Agrabagh and Blue Lagoon. I did ring though a week before and was told nowhere was serving pas 4pm

just noticed i duplicated lol

the 7th is sunday so the park should be open later, I was told when I first rang that Walts only served lunch even when the park was open unil 9pm but 2 weeks later when I rang back I was told I could book it :confused3

That's what I thought, that's why we were planning to go there on the Sunday.
No matter, I just went with what I was told on the phone - we have booked Blue Lagoon for 6.30pm on the Sunday, and Walt's for lunch on the Monday.
I've got all my restaurants booked now, another bit of excitement!! Nothing left to do now but receive my shareholders card and count down the days

Sorry to but in on your thread, but on the weekends when the parks open to 9 or 10 are the restaurants then open until 8 and 9 respectively ?
Also does anyone know what time the park restaurants close during MNSSHP ?

I'm not sure if it's the case for all restaurants but when I booked blue lagoon for the Sunday (when park is open until 9pm) they said it closed at 8pm.
But on the same evening, Walts is closed. So it's probably a case of having alternatives in your planning and if there is anywhere you really want to go, phoning in advance to find out and book.
Hope someone else can answer your question definitively though

Thankyou we usually eat in the village in the evening, but if the park is open I would much rather stay in there.

Jill your boys are a wee bit older than my DD, but on MNSSHP day we're planning on doing a late lunch (ie 2.45pm booking) at Walts, then having a bit of a wind-down until about 6pm, when we'll head back into the park and get into the swing of things until they kick us out of the park at the very end of MNSSHP :goodvibes. That way, we can choose from the Walts lunch menu and take a breather in very very nice surroundings, to set us up for the late night ahead.

We usually eat our main meal after the parks close, so hoping this way we'll really only need a snack (maybe a counter-service meal between us) later on, if anything at all.
