I am going to Disneyworld on my honeymoon and am looking for any resort that has jacuzzi/whirlpool bathtubs in the rooms. The only one I know of is the Wilderness, because my friend stayed there on her honeymoon.

I am interested in the moderate or deluxe resorts. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Maybe consider renting points from a DVC member and staying at a DVC resort. All 1 BR & up have jacuzzi tubs at Old Key West, Boardwalk Villas, Wilderness Lodge Villas, and Beach Club Villas. Check out the DVC section for more information.

Good luck on your honeymoon - and after! :jester:

EXCELLENT question! I've always wondered this, as well. I am not a DVC owner, but am renting points for this December at BWV. We have studio and hope it has a jacuzzi tub! I LOVE to take bubblebath with me to relax after a long day at the parks or on the cruise. Yes, I've actually managed to take bubblebaths in the smaller Disney Cruiseline bathroom tubs!!! DH just laughs at me!

Honeymoon suites at the WL. SOME honeymoon suites at the GF. A couple of the suites at the AKL. The 1, 2, and 3, BR's at all DVC properties. The garden suites at the BWI (PERFECT for honeymooers, and much less than the GF).

There might be others, those are the only ones I know for sure.

Just so you are not disappointed when you get there, none of the DVC studios have a jacuzzi, just a regular tub. You have to be staying in a one bedroom, 2 bedroom or grand villa to get a tub.

Thanks for the info! I'm just happy to be going to the BWV! :)

I had been advised to buy some bleach and pour it into the tub and then run it to clean out any impurities. Does anyone else do this? While I am on the subject of cleaning does anyone else lysol everything?

They use plenty of bleach while cleaning--the rooms often smell of it when you check-in.

As far as Lysol, not a chance with me--it triggers my asthma. When I want something really strong I use Synphenol 3, only available through a medical supply house.

You also want to be careful with the bubble bath in the jacuzzi. You may be overflowing with bubbles and unable to clean it up. A little bit of soap or bubble bath will make tons of bubbles.

As for the bleach, well, I go swimming at TL and BB and the hotel pool and I don't use bleach there. I think that idea is a bit over the top.

I am glad to hear that not everyone wants to clean when they get in their room. But I do hear from friends here at home that they always wipe things down with lysol or another cleaner when they go away. I would rather not, but I thougth that maybe I was doing something wrong.

It is true that jacuzzi tubs should have water with bleach run through the jet cycle at least once month - if I was staying at a hotel w/a jacuzzi bathtub (and planned to run the jets) I probably would fill it with HOT water and let the jets run for a few minutes and drain it completely before using it. I would not bring bleach with me on a vacation - that is trouble brewin'!

Bubble bath in a jacuzzi tub is fine as long as you dont run the jets or it will make a huge mess.

Nothing like a big tub filled with bubbles and warm water to relax your cares away!
