Resort's Same Day Laundry Service

We're staying at the All Star Sports, but this is general for all resorts.

Has anyone ever used the Same Day Laundry Service that is offered by your resort? Our resort info says if the laundry is dropped off at Luggage Service by 8:30 am I will be returned the same day.

I want to pack rather light, but don't really feel like spending vacation time doing laundry. Was wondering if this is a good alternative.

I would like to know:

1. How expensive is it? Is it a flat rate or per piece?
2. Did you like the service provided...clean, not stiff, pressed, etc?

It is VERY expensive(IMHO) and the price is per piece(Shirt,pants,underwear,socks,etc).The Laundries are adjacent to the Pools,so you can drop your clothes into a Washer,enjoy the Pool for 30 minutes,go put the clothes in a Drier and enjoy the Pool for another 30 minutes and you are done.

As a general rule, hotel laundry is COSTLY.

(I had a pair of pants cleaned this week $7, but I had to do it, split something on them and needed to wear them again this week!)

Considering the "premium" Disney wants for it's hotel rooms... I would come up with plan b LOL!

Last time I was there they wanted $2 to wash ONE pair of socks... it would have been $4 for TWO pairs of socks ...

For the 5 of us it would have cost $10 for us to each have 1 pair of socks washed ~ not even an 1/8 of a load
